Everyone in society should work a customer service job for at least 3 months in their lifetime (retail/restaurant waitstaff/ behind a bar etc), and possibly something similar for call centres/ telephone-based work too. I think the world would be so much nicer and more patient/pleasant if we could all appreciate from experience how much work those jobs are, and how skilled you have to be to do them well!
