And they woke up to screaming, loud enough to stir even the heaviest sleepers of Megaton.

Alexander spent the majority of the time trying to calm Abigail, who was crying and screeching in equal measure, thrashing about in her brother’s hold and nearly going into shock. Hyperventilating she looked at their skin, thinking it to be some horrible nightmare, before going back into a torrent of panic once more.

Their skin was molted, eyes still blue and what hair they had left still orange. It wasn’t as obvious anymore though, as it blended in with the reds and blues of their skin.

Needless to say, their freckles were gone.
