Role reversal Starship AU where Bug manages to fix the crashed starship and makes it to a planet occupied by humans, who immediately drag him to the GLEE for experimentation. February is assigned to guard his cell because they assume she’s the only cadet who won’t take in anything important to blab to her friends. Except y’know, falling in love with a bug is pretty important. She talks to her friends about that. And breaking him out of jail, that’s pretty important, too.

All in all, something of a mix between Beauty and the Beast, a heist narrative, and all the weirdest elements of a Star Trek episode. Bug is being pressed for information about his homeworld and his species while February and her chaotic group of friends try to evade Junior’s attention long enough to break him out. In between, Tootsie Noodles is somehow managing to seduce the robot who guards the entrance to the secret lab, Taz is experiencing a reawakening to the power of friendship, and Up is teaching February about affirmations and relinquishing negative self-talk.

And in the meantime, Roach has been playing Bug Game of Thrones to leverage his romance with the Overqueen to help Bug, so there may or may not be a bug rescue mission headed for earth.
