They had yet to understand why their presence wasn't effecting the world they traversed, but thinking about it did little to help. So they tried to go about things business as usual—despite not knowing what the fuck half the advanced technology they encountered was, what it was called, and what it was even made for. 'We was doomed from the fucking start,' Djahima thought.
They had reached a sort of tentative truce with the masked crusader called "Spider-Man", though it was more for his peace of mind than theirs. Djahima doubted that he'd be able to get the upper hand on them any time soon, but they had no idea what sort of state-of-the-art tools or weapons he might have in his arsenal. So they chose to..."play nice".
Of course, their lexicon tended to possess very different definitions than the average person. This was one of those instances.
"How you mean?" They were referring to, of course, the "dog" that was patiently sitting at attention before the two of them. "Ain't this how your dogs look like?" The "dog" quirked its head to the side, one of its gray-brown prick ears shifting more to the side. It was remarkably well-behaved despite what it was. "Too big to be a coyote. Or...huh. Well, the hell do I know? Shit."
