i am very much enjoying rebels and i was VERY happy to see rex again but i gotta say a lot of the clones dialogue feels very tone deaf kjdngskgsd

U WERE A SLAVE#*cheerily#and i cant remember the exact phrasing but the whole 'we always survive/do better under a jedi :3' like#idk something about that skeeved me out dsdksngdkjdss#i understand a sort of nostalgia for that time for the clones#it was war. painful and surrounded by death but it was also when most of their brothers were alive#and in terms of like...rex he DID have a good dynamic and relationship with ahsoka and anakin#but like..even then man. in all the time he's had to conteplate. i find it hard to believe that he didnt come out with an outlook of#'that was wrong. that shoulsnt have happened to us. even if anakin and shaoka were kind to me i should have had a choice'#*ahsoka#and like ofc he would know it wasnt their choice to make. but i find it...odd for the clones to be reminiscing on the republic as good#as if it wasnt the force enslaving them and sending them to their deaths...idk man#luke rambles
