Ooh! Yuuko confirming reincarnation is canonically real in this universe. 

WHICH, like, is not technically a surprise, especially since they’ve done so in other works (like Wish, which is in the same canon as xxxHolic), but it's NICE to have another little thread of knowledge about the universe works behind Tsubasa. And it very much ties into all the Hindu/Buddhistideas that are threaded through it all. 

And it’s so endlessly fascinating that ‘clones’ or ‘manmade people’ are technically excluded from the whole samsara idea that other souls go through, so even if Yuuko and Clow can pay for their rebirth it still won’t be the same process with the usual effects. It’s just a very fun series of ideas that Clamp are working through it all. 

On the plus side! Sakura has lost her memories so many times already it’s satisfying on a plot level that actually this time she gets to keep them.

I suppose it depends on if they’re being ‘rebirthed’ in the past and will live back towards this moment again, or if they will be reborn in the present (or maybe even the future) and will time travel back to this moment for other reasons. SAY, FOR EXAMPLE, if they turned back time and hopped in a jam jar to pay the price of waiting until Yuuko could free them just in time to save the universe. Just as a random example not related to anything.

He awakes easily enough, between one breath and the next. The first thing that registers is pain. His head aches as well as his thighs and chest and...

A questioning hums leaves the thief's lips as he sits up, sheets sliding down to reveal a mauled chest--all purpling bruises and healing bitemarks. He's got a hunch that if he looks under, his thighs'll be the same. Blinking away sleep, he reaches for the glass of water he must have prepared before passing out. He remembers last night, the joy and the revelry, the kids teasing over bowls of Hoppin' John and greens, Rogue scolding him for nearly dying (again), getting kissed by Logan---

Logan.

A different stretch of memories hit him like an 18-wheeler. That kiss had unlocked something between them--the tension they've been subconsciously carrying for god knows how long releasing in a truly explosive round (or three) in the hay.

Crisse, no wonder he looks like he's been mauled by a bear. He practically was. Okay. This is fine. It'll be fine. He'll just...slip back to his room and keep on carrying on. They just fucked. No harm, no foul. They're adults; they'll be back to sniping at each other over the kitchen table soon enough.

Just one problem with his plan.
