all term i’ve been complaining “i wANnA gO hOMe😩” but now that i’m actually going home i really don’t want to LMAO
Can I ask what you meant by Niall’s promo not being your cup of tea? Just genuinely interested in your opinion cause I thought his promo was pretty standard 🤔
not so much his appearances and interviews and stuff which are pretty standard but what kinda grinds my gears is him calling his fans to 'get to work' in terms of streaming his music to make sure his numbers are what he wants them to be. it‘s really hard to explain because wanting your music to be successful on the charts is valid and fair on one hand but also he almost sounds petulant sometimes and to me, personally, that‘s a turn off 🤷🏼♀️
constant.
One would say that trusting Hagrid with such a task was downright stupid. And one would be wrong to do so.
It did take Eddie some time to figure out what was right in front of him. He didn’t blame himself for not seeing the signs beforehand as it was one of those things you knew about but never quite pictured happening in your day to day life. He’d been younger then, a lot more naive, but kindhearted all the same - that didn’t change and he hoped it wouldn’t.
One would also say that a particular Eddie would regularly be found next to a particular Richie. This time, however, it would have been a correct statement. They had been friends from the get-go.
Friends.
Eddie pondered often over that word, that simple word. His friends were his family, not who awaited him back in the muggle world. Hogwarts had been an escape, a promise of better days - perhaps it was true, what people usually said, about coming of age, that was. Sometimes it bordered absurdity how a word as small as that could exist to explain the bond between him and the six people he loved most in the world. In a way it fit, though, it was as small as Eddie himself.
You see, Eddie was an ordinary boy with an extraordinary gift - as the director had said one day, years before, while talking to his mother -, but a small one nonetheless. More so as a feeling than height itself, which of course didn’t exclude the fact he was the shortest in the group. But, no; it was small as in not being able to help as much as he wanted. Dull.
For that matter alone, he had sworn on his life to be better, to get better. To at least try. Life was hard, magic and non-magic, but it could be a bit less harsh. Therefore, he worked his ass off - in a lack of a better way to put it. Upon the touching of scars on soft skin and whispering secrets, he worked his ass off. Richie didn’t have to go through the hardships alone, he shouldn’t feel like he needed to.
Hagrid had been the first one he looked for, after months of researching in between hundreds of pages of many books in the library. He had once asked Eddie why he was so damn interested in learning such a troublesome potion, but once it was clear that fourteen-year-old Kaspbrak wasn’t saying a thing, Hagrid moved on to simply helping and enjoying the company. Most days he studied and practiced movement and timing with random ingredients. The right ones were hard to come by and he wouldn’t waste a single spoon on the wrong mix. And so he practiced, and he read and he asked Hagrid.
Time went by, it always did, and Eddie could see the changes. He could count the new additions to Richie’s skin. He would be there and he would caress the swollen bits, he would soothe the reddening cuts - and he would practice. Not once did giving up cross his mind, not when doxy eggs exploded on his face (giving him bruises that last for a week), not when his body ached for a stop. Fifth-year had been specifically hard, but it was now gone and, honestly, Slughorn was there and he listened to half-truths and downright lies. He never asked and Eddie thought that perhaps nothing ever crossed his professor’s mind, or that perhaps he didn’t really care. He did help, though, and he did give an excited giggle before saying the potion was perfect.
Finally.
He had stolen from Snape’s office three times and it was starting to get suspicious - Dumbledore had even mentioned the occurrences over dinner once. But, you see, that didn’t matter. Not to Eddie, not after years trying to get it right, not when he had Richie in his mind.
Which he did. Every day now, he knew. It was a constant.
It was a Saturday morning and they were alone. Sitting alone by the lake. It was fairly cold and Eddie was wrapped around his long scarf Stan had knit for him two years before. He was fumbling with his own hands and he felt happy. Eddie took a long look at the lake, trying to catch a glimpse of the squid - even if it scared him to death.
“I have something for you.”, he said, voice muffled by the scarf.
Have you ever baby sat a dog who is just so FARTY

Things only people who menstruate understand: 1. When your underwear is slightly baggy so your pad doesn't stay in place. 2. The constant feeling of being hugged when you wear high waisted jeans during your period. 3. Knowing that you're going to be so fucking annoyed when you go to the bathroom later but having to go on with your day anyway. 4. How completely fucking useless things are when you're a pad wearer.
