Countdown to the Olympics: 64 days

Icon of the sport, Nadia Comăneci of Romania competes at the 1976 Montreal Olympic games, where she becomes the first gymnast in Olympic history to be awarded the perfect score of 10.0. She received seven perfect scores during her time at the games and won gold on beam, bars, and in the all-around competition-- as well as a silver medal in the team competition.
