#before anyone adds anything i understand the concept i just find it dumb#but i don't play videogames too often so like#maybe that's a poignant takes#instead of just dumb#lol#deltarune#like i think in undertale works because the question is not 'who's controlling the character'#as much as it is#yeah all the characters hate you because you've slaughtered their town#every step of the way is a consequences of the choices you take in the route#so you get what you played with#but in deltarune? we literally see kris taking their heart out FOR NO REASON and apparently noelle tells the voice she hear its not kris#i guess taking their heart out (which would be the thing we control) does point to the fact that that will be the main take away of deltaru#*deltarune#then again#meh#like the ending of the first chapter is fixed#you can LITERALLY make friends with everyone and make the pacificist run and they still do that#c'mon#i really hope toby fox adds a different take
