I very rarely think about storylines for royjamie after richmond (because it breaks my heart a little to think of anyone of the team leaving) but like it's possible that jamie would choose to stay with richmond his whole career, it's also possible that the people at richmond itself would push for him to play for *insert the name of whatever other european football team is considered the best* and he becomes a proper super star, being invited for fancy events and shit.
(In a made up world where Ted stayed in London) Roy and Jamie got together while at richmond and now Roy travels with him everywhere as his own personal coach / PA / secret boyfriend / man behind the camera of every instagram post / personal grumpy cat / number one fan / emotional support teddy bear / personal chef etc He loves being with him 24/7 and finds it fulfilling to still be involved with football and helping someone be the best they can be but without the added pressure of having to constantly step outside his comfort zone that he'd have experienced being a manager to a whole team (he's doing good with being vulnerable with Jamie, he can do it with one person that he loves and he is still going to therapy for himself to work through his own trauma/CEN/grief and is focusing on learning to be in his skin as a human being and not this fucked up idea of masculinity he's got in his head) And Roy has a private instagram account under a random username where he follows and is followed only by the richmond team/coaches/Rebecca/Higgins + Keely + Georgie & Simon + his sister and he only uses it to post pictures of food, nature, weird shit he finds in the cities they visit, and his fit boyfriend. Since it's friends only he does use captions ("the muppet had a late night last night" with a picture of Jamie asleep on the floor) and all the himbos love to comment, especially Dani's "Sexy muchachos #JOY" under every single picture.
"night out post Milan fashion week with the muppet and some lovely faces i have missed"
"one handsome dressed-up muppet in Paris"
"Elopement fit check #MyMuppet" (which sends everyone in a melt down) Here's some pics of Roy that Jamie posts instead (in his photo dumps to be sneaky but there's really a lot of roy on his profile - also they 100% got a puppy!!). Also think the proper first post containing only Roy that Jamie would post would be after they elope and it would melt down the internet (the in-universe royjamie rpf-ers especially)
(the last one is such a slutty roy pic *cough cough*)
"Roy Kent always remains 💙🪢" (somebody feel free to make an actual ig posts edit of this with better pics/captions if you fancy I will do nothing but cry and thank you forever because I have no skills but I cannot stop thinking about these muppets getting married!!)
he's a ten but unfortunately the only girls he goes for are ones that already share his last name 😔

I know we all talk about certain ways in which your background in Origins aren’t believably oriented into gameplay but I was thinking about something recently. I read in the Wiki that apparently after the overthrow of Orlesian rule there were people who felt that Bryce Cousland should have been put on the throne. Obviously aside from all the other ways Cousland's influence isn't included (the Couslands don't have a house in Denerim? they don't know many nobles?) I think this opens up a couple of interesting implications.
First, I think it would be funny if this got brought up by someone during Origins ("Oh, you're the young Cousland! I was so sorry to hear about your father--you know, there are many of us who feel he was robbed of the throne.") And Alistair's ears perk up and he's like "YEAH, you know it would be a GREAT return to what should have been if YOU worked with Eamon to reclaim the throne!" and just digs his heels in and brings that up as an alternative during every conversation about his heritage
Second, if Cousland marries Anora or Alistair and rules alongside them, that's a pretty huge advantageous match between the Couslands and the Theirins/Mac Tirs that might have been considered even outside of the chaos of the blight. Like, straight from the wiki, Highever is one of the two remaining Teyrnirs, giving them "wealth and power second only to the royal family." It makes me wonder if a f!Cousland of a certain age might have been considered as a match for Cailan instead of Anora, and what the implications of that might have been

Truly the only way to reduce the number of abortions in this country is to make this place actually inhabitable because the US is fucking hostile to pregnant people, fetuses, and babies/children of literally all ages. Increasing the minimum wage, maternity leave that isn't just 6 weeks, PTO, a full-time work week that isn't 40 fucking hours, guaranteed protections for laborers (so, unions) that will guard the interests of current parents and parents-to-be, and probably other things I'm not remembering at the moment. Healthcare (both mental and physical) should be free and universal so that someone who gets pregnant knows that they'll be taken care of throughout their entire pregnancy. There's plenty of people who live in shitty environments, so stronger environmental protections I imagine would also have an affect on maternal and fetal health. Why not put more funding into women's/maternal health care. Why not guarantee gender pay equity.
Obv money isn't the only reason why an abortion might be needed, but for plenty of people it is. They literally cannot afford a child. They cannot safely raise a child that they might really want because this capitalist and individualist country is financially hostile to children. It's environmentally hostile to children. It's also socially hostile to children but idk how anyone can legislate against that.
And lots of prolifers claim to want these things but then keep voting in the people who are explicitly against all of this. No, don't raise the minimum wage because then the price of everything will go up (even tho this isn't true). No, don't support unions bc they'll fuck over corporations. No, don't protect labor rights because they're fuck over corporations. No, don't support better education across the board, didn't you know that they're just teaching your children how to be racist fornicators? No, don't put funding into researching maternity health issues or diseases that affect women. No, don't give people free healthcare, that'll encourage free loaders and also it's expensive :( we should fund the military instead.
Like have you noticed how a lot of pro life politicians over the last decades but especially in the 80s and 90s claimed to want to save the babies, but then also supported gutting things like SNAP and other federal welfare programs--things that would disproportionately affect women and children? Y'all have never proven to me that you actually care about unborn babies, because if you did you'd be making sure they actually were born into a world that supported them
