No, this election was not lost by leftist infighting. the democratic party has clearly failed to be what its members want, and that's an internal problem.

but we absolutely cannot keep this purist, virtual-signaling bullshit up. it needs to go. telling people not to vote or that their vote is useless is NOT helpful. if you don't believe in the efficacy of elections, put your time and energy into other practical action. don't just whine about everyone who's doing the bare minimum. not to mention, in this day and fucking age, we can't and shouldn't be advertising all of our other actions to people because that could put a target on our backs or bring down movements.

every local election matters right now. people are going to die. we need every ally we can get, because that's the situation we've ended up in. gone are the times where you can argue about who's "good enough" to join you. just lock arms and stand up, damnit
