Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Drabble

Eleven months is a long time to wait. Especially when your soulmate is in a coma. Evreyone else had awoken already except for Gundam. Sonia tried to smile as one of the four dark gods of destruction nuzzled against her hand. "I know. I miss him too. He has to wake up. He has to" She whispered to nobody but herself and the small fuzzy hampsters. Sonia Nevermind was one of the first to awaken from that awful virtual island, however her memories were still sharp and clear. She remembers all of the innocent people who died at her hand. She remembers hearing her father pleading for his life. Evreyday since then she has helped the others come to terms with who they are and what they have done. Evreyone was okay, well except one. Sonia felt tears as she gazed upon her sleeping lovers face. This scenerio reminded her of a fairytale. How if she were to kiss him, he would awake. However, she knew this was no happy ending. "How is he?" A voice startled her. She gazed at a clock. It was five in the morning. "Souda?" She asked already knowing the answer. He pulled up a chair and sat with her. Her pink haird best friend looked over at him. "I hate his guts for stealing you away" he begain, his sharp teeth grinding. "If you came here to try and trash talk him, please go away." She said with tears in her eyes. "Thats not it." he sighed heavily, not knowing on how she would take this news, "Skinny Togami wanted me to deliver some information" He started and she looked up at him. Her blue eyes piercing him. "If Gundam dosn't wake up within twenty-four hours the futcher foundation will have to pull the plug" Souda said. As the words left his mouth, Sonia's heart came crushing down. It was bad enough to loose him on the island. She could'nt loose him in reality too. She remembered how she tried to run to him in his "execution", she remembered forgiving him for Niadi's death. She had cut off a piece of his famous purple scarf and slept with it every night. The thing is, she knew. She knew he would never wake up. Tears spilled from her eyes. "I loved him" She sobbed as she hugged Souda. He gasped in shock. "I know you did" Souda said stroking her back. Did he still love Sonia? Hell yes. However he knew her soulmate was laying in that bed beside her. Even if she did agree to date Souda, she would never love him like she loved Tanaka. "Gundam has to wake up. Ibuki says so" A new voice joined. Ibuki Mioda limped in. She had awoken about a week ago. "If Ibuki is a late bloomer, so is hampster boy" She smiled at Sonia. Ibuki grabbed onto Souda to keep from falling. Souda gave her his chair. Over the week Souda had become closer to Ibuki. She was a little crazy, true, but had a beautiful singing voice despite how she sang on the island. Souda said nothing as Ibuki grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Thanks guys but I just need to think things through" She answered. She caught Ibuki looking at Souda the same way she looked at Gundam. Love, worry, fear, and an empty hope. Sure Ibuki and Souda could have a happy ending, but she couldnt. Sonia stayed at Gundam's side the rest of the night. Hoping and praying that happy endings could happen in real life.
