The girls celebrate Chiara by going out for dinner! Everyone had a great time - the girls were talking and joking with each other as they enjoyed the rooftop view!
Unfortunately, this will be the last time we will see all 8 of these girls together, since the first round of evaluations will be next 😔
(After the girls returned to their dorm, our poor Hae-In got food poisoning!)
Shiori Hoshino ✨ for @rosienthe's Idolized Challenge!
Growing up as the only child of a successful businessman and an even more successful lawyer, Shiori has always had a lot to live up to. While her parents loved her to pieces and spoiled her rotten, Shiori still felt the pressure to be better closing in on her from all sides. But instead of letting it suffocate her, she let it help her grow into a young woman who will do whatever it takes to succeed: not just at what her parents want, but what she wants.
As an avid fan of S-Pop (and music in general), Shiori has always dreamed of taking center stage as an idol. She grew up the center of attention, after all—it would suit her. And her confidence isn’t all talk: she’s highly competitive and hardworking, and a natural creative. She has the chops, and she’s not afraid to show it. Auditioning to be an idol will be a piece of cake.
But are hard work and talent alone enough, or will Shiori’s self-focused nature ruin her chances of success on Idolized? An S-Pop group is a team—and Shiori will need to learn that teams are stronger together if she has any hope of fulfilling her dream.
More info under the cut!

FUN FACTS
She’s bilingual, with her first language being Simlish. Her second language is Komorebigo, but she grew up learning it alongside Simlish and is very fluent.
Her father was born in Mt. Komorebi, but moved to San Myshuno after university and met Shiori’s mother there.
Shiori was born and raised in San Myshuno, and is very much a city kid… but still loves the vacations her family takes to less urban areas. She still loves horse riding from the one time she went to Chestnut Ridge as a child!
She visits her paternal grandparents in Mt. Komorebi at least once a year, and is particularly close with her obaachan ♥️ Her mother’s side of the family is large and spread out geographically, so she mostly sees them during family reunions.
For the purposes of this challenge she only has a skill level in charisma, but story-wise she grew up taking piano lessons, has tried the violin, and can play a bit of guitar as well. She has a lovely singing voice, and has always wanted to try the drums.
She’s very, very competitive and loves picking up new skills.
Despite being fit, she lacks experience in dancing… outside her bedroom, anway.
While she’s a sweet girl, sometimes her competitive nature causes her to lash out if she feels she comes up short compared to others or has “lost” in some way.
Chiara Huang for Idolized: K-Pop Trainee Challenge ( @rosienthe )
Name: Chiara Huang.
Age: 17.
Pronouns: She/Her.
Orientation: Bisexual (forgot to add this in the game, oops!).
Traits: Dance Machine, Self-Absorbed.
Style: She's a walking rainbow! Bright, colorful, and impossible to miss.
Chiara, the youngest daughter in the family, has always been wrapped in cotton wool, never having to lift a finger, the pampered child of the house. Her parents have given her everything she's ever wanted, which has caused tension with her siblings, who feel pushed aside. Over the years, she's dreamed of many different careers: an astronaut, a teacher, a makeup artist, a model... and now, an idol. The question is: is this just another whim?
Hope you like her. :) !

Bridgette Landgraab for @rosienthe's Idolized: K-Pop Trainee Challenge
Bridgette Landgraab has a love-hate relationship with her last name. She wants to be known, and she walks with the confidence of someone born with a silver spoon, but she doesn't want the world to think she's not willing to work hard for what she wants.
Print modeling work came easy for this young fashionista because her grandmother, Nancy, helps bankroll San Myshuno's fashion scene, but she's trying to become a Landgraab with a legacy of her own. Idolized is the perfect opportunity to show the world she's not just a nepo-baby coasting on family connections.
The 16-year-old daughter of Malcolm Landgraab, an infotainment 'news' journalist, and singer songwriter-turned-commercial jingle writer Miko Ojo, Bridgette has always loved S-Pop and tries to connect with her mother's (Komorebi/Japanese) roots on annual ski trips with her family.
The Landgraabs were perfectly happy to make some calls on her behalf and get her a record deal if that's what she wanted, but what Bridgette really wants is to prove herself, even if it means leaving her beloved Yorkie mix, Sansa, at home without her in San Myshuno for a while.
Her older half-brother, Ash, is a genius who learned to dance the entire Nutcracker Suite in less than two weeks - he even invented time travel! Her goals aren't quite that high, but she's more than just his nosy little sister. If Ash can get by on actual merit, so can Bridgette.
She has no formal singing training and stopped ballet lessons in middle school, but she took piano as a child and wants to be a part of this. She'll tell you she'd be fine not to make the final group, but she'll be lying. Like any Landgraab, she doesn't like to lose, and that doesn't happen very often.
CC: Just her hair (YunJin Blunt by aharris00britney). All my sims have the default Fleur skinblend by lunamoth/flowermilksims so I can't send it with her, but there is an overlay version you can apply manually in CAS if it doesn't conflict with any of your own defaults.
For each practice session, the girls spend two hours dancing, two hours of vocal lessons, and two hours working on additional idol skills.
While singing and dancing are the main focus during their evaluations (worth 2x the points), building those additional skills can also give the girls new opportunities!
We will see the first skill-based event next post 👀
as an only child, harin learned early how to keep herself company while her parents worked. dancing to idol choreography in her bedroom felt like sharing a space with someone, even if no one was physically there with her, and it was then that a small wish took root: to connect with others through music.
