What if..
..the time that Donovan Desmond began to distance himself from his family was the time that he experienced on himself to become a psyche, but ultimately failed?
Like.. What if that's what drove the direction of founding Project Apple? The project of creating humans with supernatural abilities, which apparently is not limited to humans, but to animals as well. Heck, even the Project Apple itself is still shrouded in mystery. We don't know how Anya escaped from the lab, we also don't know if Anya was the sole survivor or even the only successful telepath they've ever created. There could be dozens out there, and Anya just doesn't know it.
The same could be said for Bond. What if there's another animal, or even human, with the same ability? What if there are another abilities the story haven't unveiled yet?
What if Project Apple was created because of Donovan Desmond's inability to become a psyche? Or what if, worst of all, there is an organization that has been experimenting on Donovan and controlling him? The same ones that experimented on Anya and Bond. What if they are the real villains in this story?!
Damn, this chapter just left me with so many more questions than answers. So many what ifs without any concrete facts to answer them... it's so confusing.

Oh God today's chapter is so amazing!! I feel like we are getting super spoiled by Endo-sensei with today's chapter. Damianya interactions, Eden students all together, Forger's appearance, Becky's parents reveal, Anya interacted with Jeeves and other servants, and even Melinda's appearance at the end! So many things packed in one chapter!
Everyone is gathered in one place! I don't even expect high title/positions parents of Eden's students to come to a festival. Like I thought they're too busy with their circle to mingle with common folk at the festival lol but I'm glad everyone can come.
The only small grief I have is that less Yor moments (Yor wasn't interacting with Becky's mom😢), 1 month of waiting for next chapter, and no Becky's mom introduction. She's so pretty!! I wish Endo-sensei tells us her name and even better make her buddy with Melinda and Yor! 💖 I hope they'll be friends in the future!
