#DGRAYMANWEEK || Day 5: Message ↳ Option A: Innocence Appreciation
caw caw. ☠* O1
Wishing for something was a kid's way of thinking.
Hoping without attempting to make the necessary changes themselves to help fulfill a wish. He imagined that hot-headed punk Izuru, wishing to be the strongest eight years ago. Snot-nosed Ganta, although he respected the kid for never giving up, sniveling and wishing he wasn't so weak.
The thought was almost demeaning, as though no one expected he had enough to be proud of; he needed to have some pitiful hope for something that could be fulfilled through fighting this "Grail War".
Senji wasn't the type to give a damn about fulfilling some wish, but fighting was most certainly his forte. So even if he didn't have anything to wish for, having always adamantly depended on himself to get what needed to be done, there was that familiar thrum of his nerves. That adrenaline thrill of needing to slice and maim. In prison, he had fought just to stay alive and sought out more challenging opponents. Knowing this would be one big fight was exhilarating. His whole purpose of living was to keep fighting on.
Fuyuki City.
The knowledge of this war still buzzed around his head as he sauntered down a sidewalk with his thumbs jutting out of his pockets, eye trained on the people he passed. Any of them could be his next opponent. The thought was enough to coax a lopsided smirk.
But more importantly, he needed to find his Servant. Although the idea of pairing up with someone wasn't his thing. He was still the Crow, even outside of Deadman Wonderland. The bird of prey that flocked and stripped carrion alone, but maybe he could find a respectable fighter in her.
