@aimtrick , i don’t know what this is.
i’m scared. that’s all i can think as i stand in a room, staring at a whole bunch of agents who are looking at me like... like i’m this tiny fragile thing. don’t they know these hands have taken down more BOWs than some of them could ever dream of? & yet, i’m still terrified because it’s starting to feel like a lot on my shoulders.
& then the door opens, & i turn to see who enters...
blue eyes meet mine almost instantly, & the second they do, it’s like the fear fades away. i know everything’s going to be okay.
“how does that sound, miss lucas? --- miss lucas?” an agent is asking. something about the safe house. but i’m already heading toward leon. i can’t do all of this by myself.
“thank god,” i say as i take my place next to him. wait, my place? ( but isn’t it at this point, brooke? ) “they... they drew up plans for my safe house, but... i would rather you look at them.”
