Seeing ppl defend DeanPharm in the year 2022 rly is healing bc I felt like I (and the few others I found when UWMA was airing) was going insane because the majority I saw called them boring. It really was that "are we even watching the same show?" experience lmao

no literallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i was rewatching the v end of ep.13 just now and the top comment was like "WHEN THE SIDE STORY ATTRACTS YOU MORE THAN THE MAIN STORY😂" and like that could NOT be me!!!!!

like respectfully teamwin trying to sell me lays will never beat deanpharm's "reincarnated lovers who were reincarnated into each other's families and have to deal with the consequences of their suicides, specifically the pain and trauma intouch went thru that was so devastating it carried over into his next life, and healing from said pain and trauma in a soft, respectful college romance that's rlly just their own soft epilogue after the pain and struggle of their past lives"

i rlly cannot imagine calling such a healing and simply BEAUTIFUL story boring........like me and exo-s-victory-lap were just talking abt this but the way uwma took so many tropes and neutralized them into something that felt SO natural and normal instead of awkward/cringy tropes is unparalleled and they did so much to start pushing bls forward from a fetishistic fanservice thing to a medium for real, serious gay stories. plus, it's kinda the POINT that there's no drama w deanpharm!!!!! everything that went wrong in their last lives goes right this time, and they get to be happy!! characters and stories that are happy and good are not boring!!! in fact, i think it's boring to think otherwise. uwma is abt gay healing and that's so important and GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#and i say this w no hate bc i loved team and win!!! the scene at the end of ep.10 when team asks win to take him to see the christmas light #*lights #is one of my favs in the whole show!#and i'm v much looking forward to their show #but in uwma........well it's really not even a competition deanpharm had such a beautiful premise and a unique and refreshingly healing #execution of it!!!!!!!!#f: uwma #the asks and the answers #i will literally defend deanpharm w my LIFE #don't worry anon we have each other!#the fact that ppl only cared abt teamwin is genuinely insane to me bc in uwma they rlly........have nothing lmfao #like bounprem's chemsitry MADE that couple they rlly had no development it all happened off screen when u look at what they had ON screen #they're rlly kinda flat......and cute!!!!!!!!!!! they r so funny and cute in their own way #which is again the POINT of uwma!!!!!!!!1 #everything is cute and simple in the present day bc it CAN BE!!!!!!!!#wait fuck i forgot to censor the names it's gonna show up in the tag now rip #this rlly isn't hate i love them too!!!!!!
