I was big on my makeup today, so thought I’d share :)

people, ~beauty gurus~ in particular, who harp on about how they don't wear foundation or concealer bc they want to remain ~natural~ and not ~rely~ on makeup to feel ~secure~  yet have the ideal skin tone and texture are so emotionally draining to me.

like yeah if i had your skin i probably wouldn't feel the need to wear foundation either. but i have excessive scarring, discoloration, and pitting. s e v e r e pitting. being asked if i've been stung by bees or if i have a rash repeatedly kinda wears on a person, so miss me with that holier than thou not like other girl bullshit. bc if you think it's so wrong to wear foundation and concealer to be perceived like a normal human being out in public, or if you think wearing foundation on the regular makes me less ~pure~, then I know exactly what you would think of me if you were to see me without makeup. i’ve seen that that snidey-ass attitude before. just because you don’t voice it doesn’t mean i don’t get it. you see your skin as better than skin like mine. you don’t ~have~ to wear foundation because you have even, clear skin. therefore you as a person are morally superior to me because you don’t wear makeup to ~cover~ yourself.

~not natural~... ~relying on foundation~... climb down from your ivory tower before you strain your neck from looking down on us lowly peons who don't have nice ~natural~ skin.
