As much as I like Malina Weissman (the actress that plays young!Kara), the only way she could look less like Melissa Benoist would be if she were a different race. Like it was almost like they went out of their way to cast a child who was the faaaaarthest from likeness to Melissa. I mean at least it put her on the map but I’m sometimes distracted by how impossible it is that she grew up to look like Melissa.
