actually tho the attitudes towards mental illness and chronic illness are p damn similar. people either dismiss what ur experiencing as fake (despite all the medical research and documentation that says otherwise) or they decide they know more than doctors and can fix u with an overwhelming wave of diet/exercise suggestions
