The reason I got pissed about people spitting on Thanksgiving for reasons literally everyone is aware of and casually dismissing the positive meaning of the holiday today is probably because I’m growing up in a country who can’t seem to let to go on absolutely any grudge and continues to live in the past, thus making horribly slow progress (if there is any) by constantly being angry about something that cannot ever be undone no matter how terrible...

And I absolutely hate this feeling

#the two may have nothing to do with one another but it doesn't change the fact that it makes me angry because of it #people aren't fucking stupid they are aware of what has happened #if they refuse to listen then why the fuck bother there are people who understand #put some hope in them for christ sake #because THEY will be the ones who will love things forward #is it that hard to focus on present and or future in a positive matter??#*manner #god...#this is the reason I will NEVER EVER be patriotic about absolutely anything #I love my culture but it's people are rotten inside #I get it's due to terrible past but I am so sick of hearing it because nothing is changing #personal crap #also not a subject I want to discuss with anyone #I am sure all of you have your own opinions and tbh I don't care #i just wanted to vent
