[Trigger warning: mental illness (anxiety + OCD + scrupulosity), discussion of triggers]
Okay, please, today is Good Friday.
I try not to ask a lot of followers (or, in this case at least, mutual followers), but please, I ask of you this one request from the depths of my heart:
Please don't post anything blasphemous.
Please, just don't. Maybe you don't know or understand how precious and holy this day is, but just believe me when I say it is. The absolute last thing I need or want to see is something sacrilegious or blasphemous on my dashboard -- today or ever, really.
And I honestly don't like to play the "mental illness" card, but as someone who suffers from religious OCD/scrupulosity, seeing these things is not just devastating on a spiritual and emotional level, but it actually hurts me on a psychological level. It spikes my OCD in ways I can't (or maybe just don't want) to describe, and then I end up acting scrupulously as a result. It's detrimental to my mental (and possibly physical) well-being.
As it is, I'm already going to be deeply saddened throughout the day; I really don't need my illnesses to get kicked up more than they already will be. I know a lot of people are just going to look at this and ignore it, but please, I'm begging you, just please don't post anything offensive like that.
May God Bless you and Keep you.
