Leo: Canonically cries at some point. He waits until he's alone, whether that's immediately after or hours after. Often the tears break free when he's allowed to shower. He's convinced himself that he's numb to it, but we all know he isn't.

Training - Variable

Kylie - Takes her time with him after, enjoys the way his body responds to her touch, as he holds himself still for her. Develops something of a ritual in wiping him down, in not allowing him privacy until she's very completely done with him. On the occasion that she gets to see the tears right then and there, she relishes in them, writing them off to him being overwhelmed/overdone, and pushes him further.

Parker - Usually will lay with him for a little bit, rub his back or his stomach, kiss his neck, rub his wrists, whatever. Lets him shower alone if he wants to, sometimes joins him (especially early on), when he's not too busy with work or generally existing as a dick.

West - Almost always leaves Leo alone afterward, and Leo can do what he'd like to do (which is shower). West is the first to leave the room, usually will just ask if Leo's good and then exit wordlessly for his private bathroom. Once he's clean, he will often go to his library and drink whiskey (and sometimes try to forget what he's done); very rarely will he keep Leo in his bed to cuddle, but it's happened a couple of times. Leo showers quickly and goes to his small room, if he's feeling okay he'll usually read a book or draw (something he only has ever done under contract with West).

Ivan* - Ivan has Leo brought to his private bathroom and will take his time to shower him, to draw a bath, there is a lot of touching and hurting and Leo is miserable. He'll get to a point where he closes his eyes, and tries to just bring himself to a warm place in his mind. Once Ivan's done with him, he'll have someone tend to any wounds that need tending, dresses him in silk pajamas and brings him to his room (sometimes carries, sometimes guides, sometimes has someone else carry). We haven't seen too much/any of Ivan's time, but Leo is his current favorite of his (many) workers. He'll hold him pretty close to him if it's night time. One he's asleep, Leo carefully starts putting inches of distance between them, until he's fully separated from him, and eventually has enough room to breathe, to stare at the wall, to slip into unconsciousness. Ivan inevitably pulls him back sometime in the night. Leo usually doesn't get much if any 'alone' time under Ivan's care, if it's not Ivan, it's someone else. (*procedure may vary based on context/time/mood/etc, and there is a large like 'second setting', but this is the like 'baseline' aftermath)

Luke: He exclusively likes to snuggle and nap.

Tanjirou loves his new family. 

Arriving back from tending to chopping down some wood for upcoming fires and to his moderate sized home, stepping right inside onto the neatly arranged wooden planks had he been warmly greeted with the sounds of little impatient feet scurrying across the floorboards towards him. Choruses of high-pitched, lively voices shouting for their ‘daddy!’, and grabby, tiny baby hands reaching out desperately for him. 

A bunch of warm thoughts swarm his mind.

These little pumpkins crowding around his feet like wild pigeons, are his lovable children.

Tanjirou’s chest rumbles with faint laughter at their contagious giddiness, bending his knees down slightly to reach out for the closest child - Kiri squeaks in glee as he feels his father’s hands slither under his arms. As they hook themselves around his frail waist, he is suddenly lifted up into the air with ease, hearing the familiar coos of his father, squealing as his face is continuously peppered in warm, loving kisses. 

“Father, you’re... you’re home!” 

“That I am, how have you children been?”

Those who weren’t lucky enough to be held in his embrace let out gloomy noises of disappointment at their brother’s luckiness, though they were easily drowned out when it came to their turn to be held, coddled, and be endowed with a chaste kiss on the forehead - a good reminder of the night to let them know he adores every single one equally. When arriving back from inevitable duties, Tanjirou takes the time to personally acknowledge each child at the doors, five children, but they don’t take as long when compared to reuniting with you.

Speaking of you ...

“Daddy … why can’t mama come out here with us?” His second-to-youngest questions, but it’s not anything near patronizing, she’s just simply curious is all - and Tanjirou makes sure to burn that little desire away so it doesn’t spread any farther from there. 

It takes him a couple of seconds to come up with a believable excuse, but it’s not too far out of the truth in his head.

“Jiji dear,” his murmurs are always insanely soft when his lover is brought up in conversations, taking in his daughter’s hand and giving them a little squeeze -  “she’s a little ... sick right now, but do not worry, we’ll be able to get along as a real family when she is able to recover. But... we might end up with another family soon - I remember you bringing up that you wanted another sibling ...”

“I did! Jirou wants baby sister!”

“No no ... boy, boy!” 

“But brother ...”

He laughs at the small banters, always so energetic.

“Now now, I appreciate the liveliness, but no need to have a debate over this small matter - you’d love your baby sibling all the same, right?” The volume in his voice raises a little, just to ensure that they heard him clearly - and they do.

They all nod their heads.

“I thought so ... I’ll be back soon darlings, don’t do anything troublesome while i’m gone, please.” He waves a small goodnight to the lingering children, entrusting the oldest to look after them for a bit, they won’t be seeing him till the morning sun.

It came out as a breathy, affectionate whisper, lips curving into an all-too familiar smile when a certain person comes into view. The room’s eerily dark than all the other rooms, but he’s gotten used to the area where he doesn’t have to depend on light to know where you exactly are - his nose points that you’re here, only for him.

He senses the succulent fear.

“Kiri is growing so fast, he’s nearly about to be four, it’s a bit of a shocker thinking about it now.”

You’re all huddled up in the darkest corner of the room, body trembling as your once lidded-eyes dilated when realizing your loving tormentor had step foot into the shared room and is now squatting down to your eye-level. Limbs constricted and limited to only squirming across the room, and that still won’t get you past the doors that prevented your freedom. Tanjirou takes that as excitement, you must be so pleased to finally see a human being after hours of being isolated from even your own children - forced to hear their melodious giggles and conversations without having to be a part of it.

He’s indirectly hinted that you must prove that you can be on your best behavior at all times, before letting you out. 

“How you’ve been?”

You can’t physically tell him you’re alright - not with cloth wrapped around your mouth, so what do you do? 

You caress the side of his face with a slight tremor in your hand, watching as a fire ignites in his eyes at your loving, but hesitating action. He’s silent, leaving you to worry if you’ve might’ve done something unconsciously wrong to set him off another time - but your doubts are swept away when Tanjirou’s calloused but warm hand wind themselves up in your hair, petting away your troubles.

 “Is that so ... ? I am quite glad you are doing good,” he murmurs, slowly drawing you into his arms like the good girl you are.

Listen what if nun!reader was able to fight Genki off and was able to escape? I just love the idea of Genki becoming so obsessed over breaking this nun/demon slayer and he can’t get over the fact- she smiles so sweetly to him despite saying stuff like “eat shit and go to hell” to him. But because of her holy powers, she seems like an unstoppable force. Also, would his brother try to get her too? I bet they both want to taint her purity and such? 👀

If she was able to escape, it wouldn’t matter.
