Slams shot. This is the absolute roughest sketch b/c I hate drawing caves, but a’ight here we go info on Ku Shen’s Cave^TM.
I. Ku Shen sleeps on a very large tree root that connects to a massive tree on the surface. This is roughly in the center of the forest, and the tree can be seen from most places where your view isn’t blocked by the incredibly thick canopy of the forest.
II. There is a shallow little creek that runs through the cave and ends in this pool in the main part of the cave where Ku Shen typically ‘lives’. It’s shallow enough where the deepest parts of it are barely even chest-height ( for him ). This is kind of the only body of water he’s confident being in because he’s been using it for the past 1500 years or so.
III. In this part of the cave there are several holes that lead to the surface, and these holes allow in enough light to light up this part of the cave. The rest of the cave is very dark, but this isn’t exactly an issue for someone like Ku Shen, who has very very miniscule to no light perception and thus sees no real changes between lit-up areas and darkened ones.
IV. The flora has been turned pink. Ku Shen has very weak adeptal energy and this is why he’s not particularly powerful, can’t do a lot of the same things that his fellow adepti do, and heals at an incredibly decreased rate compared to his fellow adepti. As such he doesn’t struggle so much with the worry that humans will be impacted by his adeptal energy-- however. Being that this is where Ku Shen goes to rest when he is weary, injured, or otherwise in need of someplace to simply spend his time for the past 1500 years, the energy that he does have has transformed the flora in this area of the cave to the typical shade of pink that fucking haunts this poor man. It has also caused some odd plants to grow that aren’t really ‘native’ to the area... which is my excuse to say there little bioluminescent flowers and plants littered over this area of the cave.
V. Due to Ku Shen’s wandering nature, this isn’t always a reliable place to find him, especially given that even as a weak adeptus he only needs a true deep sleep maybe once every week or so. That said, he does store certain things here, typically in the bushes beneath the root he sleeps on... although he also stores things in certain trees around the forest, it all depends on what he’s up to and what the thing is.
