Deeper and Deeper was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was such a good, interesting and deep (HA) exploration of all facets of Rui Kamishiro: his directing, his personality, his motivations, his past... everything worked in synch to make such a captivating look into his character.

And the theme is beautiful as well: never wash away you and your feelings for the sake of making something people (more specifically pretentious critics) would like more; make you an important part of what you do for it to shine brightest and most earnest, for that will touch the hearts of people more.
