It's so fun watching Phineas and Ferb in the original English. I first watched it in German when I was too young to know a lot of English and so the fact that there are a lot of German or German-like elements was lost on me. But I'm watching now and Roger has a slight German accent and somehow I think that's such a sweet little detail. Like yes he's the mayor and everyone loves him and he's always presented as a cool popular guy and he still has his accent cause he's not American. With Dr. Doofenschmirtz he has a very obvious accent that isn't that German so it stuck with him in the German synchronization too but Roger's accent is more subtle. Also a lot of the time in flashbacks to Doofenschmirtz' past they speak German and tbh that story he tells about the Kinderlumper could for sure be a story told to German kids to make them behave. Idk it just makes me happy
