House of the Sun MASTERPOST
Hi guys! It's been some time since Zelgan Week 2025 ended, so I figured I would compile all of the interconnected pieces I wrote for it, the House of the Sun series, in one post and with its chronological order. I'm very proud of it, hehe!
In The House of the Sun - The main story of the series and its namesake. 7 chapters, 15894 words, rated T. Ganondorf reunites with the lost princess of Hyrule and takes her under his wing, and the two of them reignite their old love.
Three years after the sudden collapse of the Hyrulean Empire, fate brings Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo and Protector of the People, face to face with an old friend he thought he would never see again. Sheik might be content to spend the rest of her life as a ghost slowly wasting away among the survivors, but Gerudo King will not let that pass — and he is both stubborn and patient enough to find his way past the walls around her heart and teach her how to live.
Saros (to meet and part and meet again) - one-shot set two or so years after the end of The House of the Sun. 4321 words, rated T. GanSheik married fluff in which we talk about the future.
As a young boy, Ganondorf promised the sacred maiden of Hyrule a whole barn full of sheep, if only she would become his wife and he her husband. Many years and tribulations later, his beloved wife remembers that promise and inquires after the sheep she never received — at least not in the way either of them would've expected. Or, Ganondorf and Sheik watch a sunrise and a moonrise, nearly two decades apart, and talk about love, family, and The Romances of the Sun and the Moon.
And The Moon, with Her Scars so Bright - one-shot set two or so months after the previous one. 8070 words, rated E. Post-reunion pregnant GanSheik fluffy smut.
Sheik welcomes her husband home after a successful hunt, intent on fussing and fretting over his latest injuries to her heart's content. Ganondorf, overjoyed to be reunited with his darling wife after their brief but painful separation, has other plans for their first night back together. Plans he is very excited to share with her. Or, two sappy, lovesick fools see each other again after a week apart and cannot keep their hands to themselves.
Of Rowanwood Limbs - one-shot set four or so months after the previous one. 3082 words, rated G. Ganondorf has a special present for his pregnant wife, ultramega fluff.
Ganondorf and Sheik eagerly anticipate the arrival of their firstborn child. As she enters the very last part of her pregnancy, the Gerudo King presents his beloved wife with a very special gift that he knows she will enjoy. A gift to reminds her of a lost loved one, and pave the path for many good memories to come.
By Blood and Stained Glass - one-shot set six or so months after the previous one, three months after the end of Sheik's pregnancy. 6486 words, rated E. Married GanSheik Dom/sub smut, in which Ganondorf takes care of his wife and her needs.
There are many demons that live within Sheik's mind, that shadow her spirit and dare to extinguish her light. Familiar with the power of such mind-demons, Ganondorf weaves for his queen a shield of red thread, a lovely crimson cord with silver bells attached to it, and starlight gems also, and a golden collar bearing his name as well as her own. She looks so lovely, with her ropes and her gemstones and her collar, and she looks at him with such great longing, soft and vulnerable and yearning. And the red suits her so well. He is only a man — he has never claimed to not be selfish. Or, Sheik has several bad days, and Ganondorf a good husband who takes care of his beloved in the way they both like best.
I am so very happy that Zelgan Week gave me the opportunity to write this story. Also, keep an eye out for anything new that might be added to it soon~!
