Imagine being forced to marry Aemond

I think I read too much dark Aemond stuff bc now I'm in the mindset of let's kill the SOB him 😇

Imagine being Rhaenyra's heir and being forced to marry Aemond after he kidnapped you. He claims to love you but he disregards your reluctance and claims you as his wife.

Not a day goes by without you telling him that you hate him and trying to kill him. He actually enjoys this sick game, especially since it always ends up with hate sex until you are too tired to even move.

When you finally succeed in injuring him and escaping, he goes after you and makes you regret it. So you change tactics and ignore him and everyone else. He can't stand it.

After a week of silent treatment and you refusing to get out of bed or even eat properly, he breaks down and begs you to do something, even fight him again if t makes you happy.

You tell him that the only thing that would make you happy is to be free. Of him, of this place and of your doomed marriage that he forced you into.

He says nothing but leaves after a moment of silence.

The next day you are made to dress and led to the front gates of the keep where a carriage waits for you to take you to the Pit. You are free to go home.

On the flight to Dragonstone, you think he might truly love you, in his own twisted way but it doesn't mean you can forgive what he has done.

You see him again at the talks of the peace treaty. Which is only possible because you have poisoned the Hand and their king while they thought you were wasting away in your rooms.

Aemond looks like a wreck. Misery written over his face as he looks at you when they read the terms.

He wants you to return to the Keep as his queen, uniting your families and ruling as one.

The prolonged silence of your indecision is killing him, he doesn't even hear the shouting insults thrown at his head by your brothers.

You look away, eyes meeting with Rheanyra's for a silent conversation. She wants you to accept. Then you turn to Daemon, his burning gaze says it all, he wants to fight and you are inclined to let him.

In the end, you don't know what makes you accept the terms but you think you made the right decision, to protect your family from more loss in this war of dragons. Your only condition is that Daemon becomes your Hand. Aemond agrees without hesitation, glad to finally have you again. This time of your own volition.
