12th Doctor number 2...12.2? Year Two Number Two?
The one with Clara in the bathtub. That’s now officially out today! You can get it from comic shops, book stores, online, even as legitimate digital download. I know it retails for like $4 so it’s really not outrageous of a price tag.
You should get 12.1 if you can but if you wanna know the rundown so far: Clara’s undercover at a boarding school for the rich and pompous, 12 is there being 12 and hiding in her bathroom, and there’s swamp monsters or somethin’.
The art is fantastic and the writing is sharp and the two together have made, even one issue in, my favorite go of 12′s comic adventures so far.
We’re not getting s10 until next year and if you really want more of 12 and Clara’s dynamic, especially the fun part, you should really do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. Also it would thrill the pants off the artist, who was a bit bummed out at seeing people spreading full scans of the comic. Make her day/week/month/something, nab a copy, and let’s see if this issue does abnormally well in sales for reasons...
