❀ storytelling time

a tale from the cherry blossom tree, for the wonderful @rkgray​ !

writing and composing isn’t exactly a new art to sakura but there’s still lots of room for improvements for her. there’s a lot of creativity flowing within her flare but she can’t seem to find the right pieces of the puzzle to complete her mission: perfecting a song for this month’s evaluations. of course, she can’t tackle this kind of project all by herself. she’s not one to endure a burden all by herself so it’s best to ask a sunbaenim that has much more experience than she does. she knows at the bottom of her heart that she can confide to gray.

he’s been there for her in her time of needs when it wasn’t easy to fuel in ideas and whatnot.

truthfully, she couldn’t express her gratitude enough towards the elder. she’s lucky to have someone like him in her life as she’d remain a lost puppy in the dungeon without some sort of support. she doesn’t want to disappoint her coaches either since sakura’s quite a people-pleaser ( much to her dismay, she still doesn’t like to admit those specific words, verbatim ). failure isn’t an option at all.

trainee starter for @rkxsnn ! ( tw: bullies! )

the first day of training, sakura finds herself lost in the middle of everything. she doesn’t have anyone to sit with during cafeteria and it seems that she can’t find any of her friends to pester and sit down with her, eating a nice meal. she still prefers her healthy daily bentos that she always makes for meal preps on the daily. she’s a friendly individual but it doesn’t feel right not having anyone by her side. she’s used to having people around. it feels weird, being a trainee and realising that she’s made it this far.

her eyes look down on the table, picking up her chopsticks as she eats a piece of tamago all by herself. that is, until a posse of girls, trainees that are without a doubt, have been here for awhile. they must be high in seniority. being the usual friendly gal she is, she greets the girls with a smile but the girls respond with snarky grins with nothing nice to say. 

“oh you’re that miya-whatever sakura girl? what are you doing here?”

and all she can hear is the sinister laughter. how are some people so heartless?

❀ feels like forever

it feels like years since she’s encountered solji face-to-face. sakura can’t help but worry about the elder’s health, considering the difficult pace she’s been with her work. “i hope you’re okay in regards to your health.” sakura doesn’t hesitate to bring up the topic to light as it’s too important to simply disregard. her expression is simply concerned, eyebrows knitted together in anguish. it kills her not to see her friends for such a long amount of time because she longs for her presence. she’s clung on to solji as if she was an older sister figure.

“but i’m glad you’re here is all.” then she presents the elder with a soft smile, she truly isn’t one to be fond of making such vigorous faces in any time of the moment. she was such a sucker for smiles and giving them, exchanging as well. “so tell me all about you, nee-chan. how’s everything been treating you?” deep down, her gut only wants to receive nothing but good news from solji.

not having communication was the hardest part. on the other hand, she’s just grateful that she gets to have some sort of freedom with solji in the form of a sleepover hangout.

rkchoutzuyu:

Tzuyu walks to the door and sets down the gift bag with the giant pink dolphin plush. In one hand she still holds the heart-shaped, strawberry mirror glaze cake she’s spent hours baking for Sakura. Along with the cake and gift plush, she brought a card and was ready to spend the whole day with her best friend.

the australian gal heard a knock of a presence out the door, she proceeds to walk out of her room and rush down to tend to open the long, tall entrance. when she does, she’s blessed with lots of gifts and the sight of her best friend on a special day. “oh my gosh, thank you so much!” tears want to be shed, not sad vibes but a happy feeling gushing to her heart as she’s in awe of all the effort that tzuyu has put in. she truly appreciates the hard work and dedication her best friend put in, “i really appreciate it! you did so much! come inside, tzuyu-chan!” she helps her out with the gifts as she takes the cake in her hand and the card too.

❀ makeup 101

rkmakeover starter for @rkseokjin​ !

makeup appliances didn’t make sense to sakura, she’s been watching tutorials to test on her face. but it’s a different story when she realises that she’s offered to help seokjin when she has clumsy hands and could mess up the eyeliner. she isn’t the greatest when it comes to putting on blush, eyeshadow, or any makeup on another person. she might’ve had opportunities in the past to do it on her other friends but she simply couldn’t create the art they’d ask for.

“are you sure you want me to do this?” she tilts her head in the other direction, eyes locked on her friends with eyebrows knitted together in inquisitiveness. “i make people look like a clown!” she giggles softly at her joke. “i think you might be better than me at this, seokjin-chan!” she never seems to drop the use of honorifics as it’s embedded in her personality already.

❀ it’s everland, not disneyland

starter for @rkchoutzuyu​ !

amusement parks are surely exciting, especially attending it with one of her few favourite people in this world, tzuyu. sakura finds joy being around the presence of tzuyu. smiles are often traded fairly with some soft tales of doting on one another and affections. naturally, sakura’s big-hearted and caring, so she displays tendencies of love to her friends by showing her appreciation. she decided to buy two everland tickets way back. out of all days is when she finds her schedule slots free of school or any of her biomarine volunteer work at the aquarium.

this was the least she can do for tzuyu, take her on an adventure as a birthday gift, “are you excited? i can’t wait to go inside!” her eyes crease into an eyesmile, lips pulling into a grin as she jumps up and down excitedly once they’re getting closer to the entrance as the line is dying out quickly. “this is going to be the best day ever with you” but, that’s the thing, days were never ever boring around the other girl.

“i love being around you, birthday princess. did you know that?” she conveys to her best friend openly as her hands open the brochure of the map of the park. she wasn’t sure where to head first, “all of these rides seem like fun!” however, she didn’t have to worry about being out for too long as this was an all-day event. her curfew was nonexistent, so she could come home way later if need be.

❀ relief talk

it’s all over. episode two done for the day. results were heard. everyone’s going home now, bodies decreasing by the minute in the room she’s in.

initially, she was supposed to stop by a takeout restaurant to grab some food before she left the mnet building. sakura’s not one to be hangry as the mood rarely comes to her but it’s starting to reach that point. but, she still hasn’t as she’d rather spend her time with ryujin to check up on her good friend. she’s proud of her friend for coming up and striving in the stage despite all the heated pressure intensifying within the show.

if anything, sakura doesn’t intend to make an enemy out of anyone. she’s made this feeling crystal clear from what she’s stated in her interviews. worried, she conveys her fear to ryujin. “i don’t want to make an enemy on her here, ryujin! especially not you.” she juts her lip out, pouting in a cute but also devastated manner. “you’re precious to me, ryujin!” she brings the other girl into a brief hug then sits down next to ryujin on the bench.

“how do you feel about everything so far?” there are a lot of emotions sakura’s experiencing as well but she wants to hear attentively what ryujin has to say first. “it’s a little nerve-wrecking, it seems..” a distressed sigh escapes from her pink lips. the solution is not to pay attention to her anxiety eating her up but it’s difficult not to when the lights, camera, and action is every week! she had to live up to an expectation to pass it through if she wants to see a good result.

❀ cute spikes

animals are her ultimate weakness, sakura has never had a hedgehog but she’s all about it ever since she’s met dongmin. she’s set her piles of paperwork for her project aside, focusing on a more important task was hanging out with her good friend. “does it hurt to ever touch their spikes?” a brow is raised in sheer curiosity. she could look up the source online but feels that it’s more genuine when experimenting or directly asking questions to the owner is the better solution. 

“haru... is his name.. right?” she doesn’t want to butcher the pronunciation but saying the word wasn’t exactly on a difficult level. “is it okay if i pet him? would he be mad?” she had no intention of disrupting the animal from its sleep, considering that the small creature wasn’t getting up but laying down in one place. 

“it looks like he’s asleep though.” she squints her eyes (only cause she forgot to bring her glasses and doesn’t have her contacts with her for the time being), looking closer at the tiny thing.
