Rereading chap 33 after chap 34 is so fucking good but yknow something I noticed??? The ways the same scenes are drawn differently in each chap and how they reflect where each chaps focus character was at mentally

Hirano was more focused on Kagi's face here than vice versa was, so what was originally just one page in 33 gets doubled and more expanded on when Hirano's the one in the driver's seat
Hell, these 10 secs as a whole were only 2 pages long when it was Kagi's pov, and 5 pages for Hirano's
The whole thing just has this most "gloomier" (idk if that's the right world) when it's Kagi's pov cause of how much he was mentally spiraling that afternoon
And then the same thing for Hirano's pov just??? Doesn't have that vide. Thruout that whole chap he had been all "he's so cute" "I love him so much" "being with Kagi-kun is so damn soothing" etc etc which is basically the opposite of where Kagi's mind was at that day
Like yeah there's obviously the natural darkness from being alone together in a closed bathroom stall, but Kagi's chap as a whole is drawn moreso melancholically, which gave it that gloomy vibe the whole time. Meanwhile Hirano's is more lighter in vibes and in the way it's drawn as he has accepted that he loves Kagi (hell the chap even started with Hirano thinking to himself (paraphrasing) "it's because we're dating now" like damn ok Hirano where do you think this all started???? Cuz Kagi def wasn't on the same wavelength)
The part when Kagi's nuzzles his face into Hirano's shoulder too... just looks at Hirano's face in both chaps. 33 Hirano looks more startled by the action, probably because we're seeing this play out in Kagi's pov while he's mentally putting himself down. 34 Hirano doesn't have that same startled look as we get to hear his thoughts as he accepts the touch (imagine if they had made eye contact here holy shittttt) Hirano's fine with what's happening, but Kagi doesn't know that
TL;DR uhhhhhhhhh thank you Niibashi for kicking them both in the ass as they both desperately needed that and I hope they talk things over properly (and without interruption i stg---) next chap 😁🫶💕
