And I don’t want to go home right now
Left Alone // Sleeping With Sirens
let us just ignore each other
“Look, you don’t like me, I don’t like you, so let’s just leave it there.” Arden scoffed, rolling her eyes and faced away from the other. “You're so arrogant sometimes, it’s unreal.” Brett responded, dull toned. The dark skinned girl rolled her eyes yet again and she pushed her textbook further away from the other. For a teenage girl, she was definitely rude and arrogant, but she knew that for a dead certainty. “You know, it’s life. You need to build a bridge, get over it and stop wasting people’s time.” Arden mumbled under her breath. Even though she spoke quietly, Brett knew what she was saying word for word. “Half the time I don’t know why you have friends.” He spat. Being mean wasn't for Brett, especially when he was brought up to be polite and respect others.

The eighteen year old stood in her undecorated and cluttered bedroom by her door, facing a floor length mirror surrounded by black metal swirls. She was in a mid-conversation on a messaging service on her phone and she was waiting for the person she was talking to, to respond. The girl had a mixture of positive feelings inside her for once, rather than them being all negative. However, one emotion stood out the most for her, and she wondered if it was real or not. But it definitely was, considering how giddy she’d get whenever the other would respond to her messages. Chloe smiled when she heard the notification sound and she instantaneously unlocked her phone. Upon reading the message that Emma was going to be in a lesson and wouldn’t be able to talk, Chloe quickly typed out a message.
‘Emma?’
‘Yeah?’
‘I love you’.
