also: tech powered by literal flesh is a shorthand for moral depravity in science fiction. (edit: as in, specifically revealing that a technology has been powered by Literal Flesh all along, not simply biomechanics in general.)
the warframes are the main example of this, obviously. and, uh
so it would go something like:
the Orokin use The Fingers to build and expand their empire even further.
I am seriously wondering if The Fingers were used in the initial construction of the Sentients. they almost certainly get their sentience direct-from-Void in a manner similar to Void constructs, and maybe that's because of how they were made. because Wally's body language with baby Lotus/Natah is crazy. like that's THEIR baby.
the Orokin construct the warframes to fight the Sentients.
and the Sentients construct their cities in the same manner, civilization built from biomechanical flesh, and the nasty little wheel of violence and exploitation continues to turn.
I am so done with people. I just can't anymore.
I cannot stand unfairness in general, and this is just beyond what my heart can process.
Oscar makes a mistake (or any other driver on the grid), but I'm mentionning Oscar bc he's the closest in my mind for big mistakes during a race, like in Australia : too bad for him, I feel for him, no that's unfair, he didn't deserve this, he's more than this. (And that is totally normal and logic and valid ofc, Dgmw. I don't want to spread hate here.)
(We could also mention Pierre and the Ferrari double disqualifications.. There wasn't hatred sh*t storms on them.)
Lando makes one : he's not worth being here, he sucks, he'll never win anything, "is this guy your driver pfffff" "Blando 🤣🤣🤣"
Why are people so intolerant with him. I cannot understand why people are so harsh on him like, just give him a break. Let him BE.
I'm just speechless. And very concerned for Lando's mental health as he receives all of these sh*it storms while he's trying and doing his best.
sighs desperately ...... 😑
Now with that said, I think I have what might be the beginning of an answer to why so much hate.
You don't hate what you're not afraid of. (And ideally you do not hate anyone, but I'm trying to put myself in haters stead..)
And that should give us a reason to show him even more our support, our love.
This man deserves everything but hate, he deserves love and support.
And please Lando, please, don't be so harsh on yourself, greatest champions made mistakes. You're human and that is precisely why we love you.
Tomorrow's another day and he's gonna do fantastic.
Bonus note : Max and Oscar asking right away if Lando was okay warmed up my heart 🧡 + GG Max (this man is using wormhole to get poles, I'm telling you) Osc and Georgie ofc.
little sunshines ☀️
the thing is, we all see and are aware of the love dnp have for each other. the unbreakable bond that transcends romance and friendship. but for them to acknowledge it head on… truly a new era. it’s them saying they accept that we’re all going to perceive them in our own ways, and it’s okay. they trust us. they know who they are, how they feel about each other, and that’s what’s most important. but that they would love to share a big part of their lives with us, a part that brings them happiness, knowing how much happiness that brings us. like whether or not they hard launch, i feel like this is where we’re at and im just so incredibly happy for them
I’m not ruling it out, because Vigilante is weird and he could believably do just about anything he’s physically capable of if the reason is in character, but I don’t think the two Vigs switched for two main reasons:
1) the subtitles/captions make a distinction every time they say or do something, I’ve seen my fair share of switcharoos to know that there are ways to subtitle them without making a key distinction. At least toward the end. When the switch would happen.
And,
2) They make a point to injure one vigilante, then have the other unload on the culprit. Then, while Leota helps the injured vigilante, the other says something repping the Sons of Liberty. Which feels like a deliberate attempt at separating which is which for those using subtitles. I’m pretty sure injured Vig, or I mean, our Vig, did leave through the portal.
Id have to go rewatch the last scene when Im off work to confirm.
Also, it’s not completely ruled out, maybe Vig felt like he messed up again, and they agreed to switch places, that’s also entirely possible.
Rapture in Hell Breaks Loose said that she'd met a bunch of people with very bizarre/niche religions, including a farmer who worshiped Gog Magog. I wonder every single day if that was Skulduggery's dad lmao
