A small chuckle let out of his throat over Zace’s reaction to him saying yes. “Am I honestly that stern?” he joked lightly. He honestly wouldn’t disagree if someone were to say yes. He is devoted to his work, after all.

And then an audible ‘oomph’ was made from the ravenette tightening her hold on him. Did he really made her that happy? Nodding to her statement, the blonde just stood still. “Well then, would you mind leading the way?”

❝Honestly, yes. Sometimes I think you have more fun doing work than anything else.❞

A deep sigh escaped her lips before smiling at him.

❝Let’s see. Where should we go to? Shall we go to a bar, or maybe we just head back to my place and drink there. ❞

She paused for a moment.

“It’s a little cold don’t you think? Why don’t you come inside…” He did just come back home and needed some time to relax. Zace wouldn’t mind this… Maybe? Anyways, after bringing her inside from the cold, he went immediately to his bed and rested on his bed. “Haaaa, I’m bored…”

❝It’s not that cold! I can deal with it.❞

Even though she said that, she still followed him inside. The thief kept looking down at the ground, nervous about being with him. Which didn’t make sense to her, since she is normally calm and collective.

What added on to her nervousness was her being a fan of his. Of course, Yuri wouldn’t know of this. Since she was just there watching from a distance. She watched him rescue and fight off monsters. Zace was with her traveling partners at the time. So when they suddenly were attack, it caught them by surprise. It was after this, Zace felt a need to train harder. So next time her cart was attack, she can defend it.

Zace never let Yuri know that she was there that day. Nor did he know she was watching him fro a distance. She grew up to be his number one fan. This alone made her nervous. So nervous she didn’t even noticed she followed him to the bedroom.

❝Y-You’re bored?! I’m sorry. I-I didn’t come over to hang out... I came over to ask you a question!❞

Carefully, the engineer pulled her arm away and smiled. He was not very keen on physical contact, especially the sudden ones like this. Though, he tried not to offend the other and patted her shoulder.

“This something is very fragile and likes to be not touched if possible.”

She wasn’t at all surprised by his actions. In fact she was counting on it. He seemed like the type to pull away from her. Which caused her to want more.

You could say her thief senses were kicking in. If Balan doesn’t watch what he says, she might kidnap him for her own enjoyment. If he were to piss her off, who knows how much he would sell in the black market. Though Zace was a nice girl... For the most part. It all depends on how well Balan plays his cards.

“Yeah…I’m the real little brother…” Ludger said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. “Yeah…I guess I kind of take it for granted. He’s always been there for me.” And this was the first time he’d really been away from his older brother.

It was weird.

“…it will be pretty amazing…” Ludger smiled and glanced down at the ground. “that’s a long way off though, huh?” He tilted his head. “yeah…money is pretty essential.”

He was already going into debt…

Her sister was no way like that. All she cared about was herself. She knows that everyone is not like that. If her sister ever changes, she knew she could forgive her.

“Oh…” He hadn’t really thought of that…that a demon wouldn’t be eating human food. Ludger shuffled slightly and nodded. “Well, that will save me money…but I’ll be happy to make some for you to try.”

He thought about it for a moment before nodding again. “…I could uh…well there’s little booths were people sell food. I don’t think they require a permit…” His food was good…and with Julius bragging about it when he was younger…

He might be able to draw a crowd…
