DC #566 & Batman #400: Feels & Fun

Batman goes through his Rogues Gallery with Jason and Nocturna pops up... Jason’s still not over losing her and Batman notices and tries to help and I love that. 

“...after Nocturna...after sh-she---”

“There was no need to go through this, Robin. It can’t be Nocturna-- & Night-Slayer’s in Arkham.”

“Y-yeah...Just didn’t want to overlook any possibilities...d-don’t want you thinking’ I’m...s-soft...”

“She was your “Mother”, Robin...”

Then in Batman #400 we get this epic collage of kick-ass quotes:

And finally, Batman’s friends and family come together in the batcave to celebrate his anniversary of becoming Batman (I think??). Alfred even makes a cake that Jason proudly brings out.

of course, a stalactite randomly falls from the ceiling and Batman ruins the mood (read: broody) but the gesture is nice all the same.
