Wrestling is not a love story, it's much more. It's hope.

jed - she- we’re glad you’re back bud. i know it might be hard to get back into the swing of things since you’ve been gone so long.

jed (cont.) - but you’ll see, not much has changed.

jed - wyatt are you even listening to me?

wyatt - oh uh. yes sir

jed - (sighs) look, i know the last thing you want to hear is life advice from your step-dad,

jed - but you’re getting a second chance, kid. lots of folks would kill to be in your shoes. 

jed - make the most of it. while you still can.

Mikey’s text had been sent at 3 in the morning, not expecting an answer until later in the day, but he hadn’t slept in his impatience and annoyance. Computer’s busted. Come fix it. He knew IT wasn’t Wyatt’s actual job, but it was the closest he got without paying an arm and a leg at the repair shop. “It stopped working last night,” he mumbled, nursing his fourth cup of coffee, second since Wyatt’s arrival. “I wasn’t even doing anything different. Just... stopped working. I need that thing for work.”
