Something @rosen-und-mondlicht and I have discussed before, but I wanted to make a post about it.
We were discussing how the way an angel bonds is something so very unique and intense. Deep and possessive. When an angel bonds with you deep enough, they basically become tethered to you for eternity. To your very soul. They become something more than a mortal in need of a guardian angel watching over you.
You essentially become the god they worship.
It might be somewhat frightening or weird at first to have a celestial being become so enamored with you in a way that borders on obsessive. It's certainly not like anything you're used to. They get clingy and doting. They get agitated when they can't be near you or have easy access to you for long periods of time. You see, you're a part of them. And when that part is separated or taken away, it's like a piece of their soul is missing. It makes them lose their sense of meaning or purpose. They fall into a deep depression, or they can even become violent and irrational. So your presence is essential comfort comfort to them. This is why they get so protective of you and need to make sure you're safe at all times. They're territorial over you and your belongings.
You are their whole world. Everything about you is sacred and must be cherished.

And now it seems Lucifer has done so with you.
Trust him, this is weird for him too. In his lifetime this has only ever happened once. He's never heard of this happening to an angel TWICE. Yet here he has found himself attached to you in a way he simply can't ignore.
In a way that keeps him up at night, tossing and turning in his empty bed. That has him clawing at his walls and his sheets, desperately yearning to have you in his arms.
But then again, how could he not have fallen for a soul as beautiful and radiant as yours? The more he got to know you, the more he realized something about you just clicked perfectly with him. And before he knew it, he had fallen again.
Whether you knew it or not, you became part of him. And whether or not you choose to accept him as yours is up to you. He won't force you to do anything. That goes against everything he's ever stood for... he will just live with the yearning. The longing.
The pain of not having you for the rest of eternity.
