in my mcd au there is a traders guild/association which is very secretive and mysterious to the outside the ores signify their rank in their job and the sash which dimension they trade from and to most of the groups "villagers" stay within hidden camps and hone their craft while their wandering siblings sell or exchange their goods if a "villager" ever decide to leave they are under oath to keep the groups secrets hidden however they can share their craft in a way that wont reveal their trade secrets i plan to make eos an ex part of the group
