Huhuhu am so happy rn!! My dream helmet finally arrived ✨ This was actually an anniversary gift from my bf. I've been wanting this for quite some time now but the kuripot in me doesn't wanna spend. Ang mahal kasi niya nasa 6k+, tapos parang katwiran ko pa before bat ako gagastos ng ganon amount of money for a helmet. Pero marami nga nag sasabi, dibale na daw fake jerseys or ibang accessories mo like shades and gloves na hindi branded pero wag na wag ka daw mag titipid sa helmet. Yun talaga kasi protection mo sa ulo incase bumalibag ka or something. Dapat matibay talaga and makakaya yung impact.

'Di ko talaga inexpect tong gift na to. Kasi bigla nalang nag send ng pera bf ko sa bdo ko nung anniversary namin. Hahaha. Tapos sabi niya pambili ko daw ng kplus. Actually nung una sinasabi niya bat 'di nalang daw kasi ibang brand bilhin ko. Madalas out of stock sa stores yung kplus and konti lang nag bebenta dito. It's a korean brand kasi and medyo madalang siya sa market. But ito talaga gusto ko. I like that it's white and I like it's style as well. Also, naulol din ako sa lock mechanism niya kasi para siyang magnetized. Wala kang ipupush as in medyo pagdidikitin mo lang tas kusa na siyang kakabit and maglo-lock. I didn't expect that and hindi ko alam na ganon yung feature niya tbh. I was mind blown!! Hahaha. Parang super secure niya talaga and alam mo rin na hindi siya basta basta maaalis sa ulo.

Cycling is not a cheap hobby, I tell you. So I have 2 bikes now, a mountain bike and a road bike. I have a Grand Canyon 6 mountain bike worth 86k+ and 2 months pa namin yun inantay kasi sa Spain pa galing. Pinabili namin sa kapatid ng bf ko tas siya nag-ship samin kasi mas less cost sa shipping and tax. Nung una talaga as in ayaw ko gumastos ng mahal just for a bike pero makikita mo talaga yung difference kasi nga nang galing ako sa bike na tig 8k lang tas sobrang nakakabadtrip, lagi may nasisira or natatanggal kadena and hindi ganon ka-swabe yung shifting ng gears. Tapos after 2 or 3 months bumili ako ng road bike na kespor tatak which is California made pero dito na namin binili sa dealer sa ph. Since my bf and his dad are using road bike and madalas ako naiiwan sa rides. Iba kasi din bilis ng road sa mountain bike and it's definitely much lighter. Inabot rin yun ng almost 80k. Syempre ang dami pang binili like other bike accessories and clothing so almost 200k narin siguro nailalabas ko for this sport 🤣 But I don't regret anything cos I'm having fun. And ang sarap talaga mag bike. Ito yung something na part na talaga ng lifestyle namin. Something I know na kahit mas tumanda pa ako, gagawin ko parin. So investment narin siya.

Ayun, basta I'm super happy. Huhuhu. Excited na tuloy ako mag ride this weekend. Sana lang wag umulan nun para makapag-bike kami.

The Good Detective is a 16-episode crime detective drama starring Son Hyun-joo (Justice, Criminal Minds, Signal) & Jang Seung-jo (Encounter, Familiar Wife). This is a crime drama of the battle between detectives who try to reveal the truth and those who frequently cover it up.

Kang Do-chang (Son Hyun-joo) has been working as a detective for the past 18 years. He investigates cases using his experience and personal connections, forgoing scientific technique or reasoning power. Oh Ji-hyuk (Jang Seung-jo) is an elite detective with 9 years of experience. Unlike Kang Do-chang, he investigates cases using evidence and insight into the criminal's psyche. Due to trauma from his childhood, Ji-hyuk does not share his feelings. He is wealthy thanks to his late uncle who left him with a large inheritance. Jin Seo-kyung (Lee Elijah) works as a newspaper reporter. She is a 5-year veteran and passionate about her work. These opposites partnered together to reopen a case from 5 years ago.

The Good Detective takes a step away from typical investigation dramas, which highlight the cruelty of cases and illustrate the confrontation between murderer and detectives. It captivates viewers by bringing two contrasting detectives together to chase after a hidden truth. The murder mystery becomes even more impressive as Kang Do-chang who only cared about his own safety rather than his belief for realistic reasons, chooses to follow his conscience and correct his past mistake.

The actors’ brilliant performance is also a reason that draws the viewers in with The Good Detective. Specifically, Son Hyun-joo and Jang Seung-jo’s acting that make the characters come alive. Son Hyun-joo sophisticatedly portrays an ordinary detective with genuine struggles, while Jang Seung-jo forms a sense of realism by flexibly expressing the character who can seem a bit unrealistic. The chemistry between the two is also attention grabbing through the drama.

Worthily, The Good Detective touched on the dedication of people to their careers and the way they aligned it to how they live as a person. Son Hyun-joo’s character Do-chang represents all the veteran employees who find fulfilment in their job not by the achievements or promotion gained.

Character & Cast

Son Hyun-joo (as Kang Do-chang) The tough and loyal leader of the Homicide Unit with 18 years of experience. Rather than relying on forensic analysis or outstanding reasoning skills, Do-chang is a detective who depends on his experiences and personal connections. As a result, despite being a detective who captures vicious criminals, Do-chang gives off the appearance of a kind and friendly neighbour.

Jang Seung-jo (as Oh Ji-hyuk)

An elite detective in the Homicide Unit with 9 years of experience in the field. Ji-hyuk doesn’t express his emotions with others due to a traumatic experience from his childhood. Thanks to a sizeable inheritance left to him, he’s a rare type of detective who isn’t concerned about money. Ji-hyuk is takes a cold, calculating approach to investigations. He focuses only on the facts of the case by relying on analysis of the crime scene and his keen insight into the mind of the suspect.

Elijah Lee (as Jin Seo-kyung)

A reporter with five years’ experience for the Junghan Daily, one of the four biggest newspapers in the nation. Although some people have built misconceptions about Seo-kyung due to her fiery personality, she doesn’t cave to any outside pressure and sticks to her beliefs.
