and by the way pretending that every poc pissed off at ethel cains numerous racist comments was a frothing transphobe with ulterior motives just waiting for a moment to have an excuse to attack her and not other queer people watching potentially their favorite artist make wildly offensive jokes at their expense because she thought it was funny is also racist.
sorry but if you have at any point in your life thought i was less than human and that bigoted jokes at my expense were funny then im obviously not going to feel comfortable around you, and i shouldnt have to preface it a billion times that im not transphobic and not a part of the group of 20 people trying to dox her.
i dont understand how people havent caught on that preying on peoples need for meaning in life, fear of death, and understanding where they came from in a world full of uncertainties by telling them theres a god and it has all the answers as long as they follow designated rules is one of the most despicable manipulation tactics ever.
there is no version of islam that could coexist with progressivism because it is written into the foundation of islam that it is a tool for patriarchal power. it is abundantly clear if you learn the rules and applications of islam that it was never meant to be a religion so much as a legal system. the spiritual bits of it were included as bait. if i ever see a political blog that is completely progressive but still posts anything supporting islam (read: not muslims, islam) then i know not only is this person uneducated but they dont care to be. it will be pointless arguing with them because their ultimate goal is to look progressive, not to necessarily be it.
now that were talking about the rumors a tadc movie could be released early only in american theatres and the fact toby fox wont translate his games into anything other than japanese - can americans start realizing how painfully american-centric fandom spaces are?
like imagine being from ethiopia or nepal or malaysia or latvia and knowing that a game, show, movie, concert you like will never ever be available to you. down to the online spaces surrounding them. pick one of those countries above and look up what are some available concerts or conventions in the coming year. look up the countries your favorite aritsts visited or the languages your favorite indie games have been translated to. go to a random fandom server and pay attention to how location-specific and timezone-specific and even culture-specific details that are considered the standard or default can be. i live in the developing world and i was once yelled at by an american moderator for "messaging at an unreasonable hour" when it was in fact a COMPLETELY reasonable hour for me, and, you know, a discord server??
fandom is centered around the US to the point of apathetic extreme exclusion of people outside it and even more so to people from non western countries. imagine being the same sort of fandom kid you are now in a country thatll never get a whiff of access of events or access to certain things that americans are served by default.
being anti endo alligns itself in its ideology perfectly with being a transmedicalist. If you are one and not the other you are being disingenuous with the reasons you hate endogenic systems.
Take the sentence "you cant be trans without dysphoria because the dsm's criteria for being trans is having dysphoria" and replace the word trans with "a system" and the word dysphoria with "trauma" and those are the belief systems of both ideologies. When anti endos complain about endos they literally might as well be complaining about "transtrenders".
a lot of white queers are one bad personal interaction with a POC away from becoming racist.
