character in general: I may or may not have hated Katsuki for a year or more, but seeing him improve as a person and make his motivations has made me… Dare I say it… Like him? I didn’t understand how anyone could find it possible to root for him as a good guy when he told Deku to fucking kill himself but yeah. I get it now. He’s fucked up and he needs some help and I’d love to see him get it. He still has a long way to go but I’m rooting for him.how they play them: The voice is definitely there! I can hear Kacchan when I read your dialogue for him. Your prose accompanies the way he speaks as well, by being to the point, brash, and well within the essence of the character! character in general: Obahooru is a boy that I like based almost solely on the merits of his swag. Looks good as hell? Evil? Yakuza? A marry band of devoted followers? I like him, but he feels unfinished… We haven’t gotten much backstory yet so I’m hoping that’ll ease my feelings. My complaints for him are pretty much moot since I RP fucking Tomura… COUNTRY GIRLS MAKE DO.how they play them: As someone who always plays characters that are underdeveloped or just not loved by their creators the way they should be… I know this shit’s hard. But it doesn’t seem to be a problem for you! Your prose for Overhaul is so thoughtful and steeped in his essence that I’d swear Horikoshi just stole your OC. Your way of writing him is so cold, clinical… It suits him extremely well. I’m just a huge fan of your portrayal and no amount of blathering will help me articulate it any better. character in general: Deku is World’s Goodest Boy and I cried a lot in the first 4 episodes because of his lettuce lookin’ ass smh. My perfect autistic son.how they play them: Oh boy, this is a question I feel very qualified to answer!! Your Deku has been on my radar from Day 1 as an informed portrayal full of life and emotion. My favourite detail you really bring out is his… his saviour complex? I guess that’s the best way to word it. Not to break too far away from the Tomura perspective, all of Deku’s thought processes are super clear in regards to our threads with my Nishi. You can really see the gears turning in the boy’s head! And your prose – Clear, poignant, with just enough flourish to become something beautiful. the mun: YOU ARE…!!! Kai, you’re such a sweet, thoughtful and welcoming person. I would have never thought to join the RP fandom for BNHA without your presence here. Also your thread and meme ideas are always A+ and I’m like “o yea bby…. Kai smrt”.

character in general: etoile is a girl who knows what she wants, and i appreciate that. i’ve always had an affinity for horror characters and wanton gore… a lot of my muses are villains, after all. etoile is a perfect foil for many different sorts of characters, and she’s one i’ve come to adore over about a month or so of following her! and yes—that absolutely predates this tomura blog.how they play them: etoile is the mun’s baby, so no one could ever play her better. speaking outside the obvious sense, the mun’s prose is frilly and adorned in beautiful vocabulary. it gives you a real sense of the kind of person etoile is from the narrative alone!the mun: we’ve only spoken once, and quite briefly, but she was nothing but sweet and receptive.

character in general: of course, deku is... unarguably the most important part of bnha. he’s one of my two favourite protagonists of all time aside, his plights and willpower driving the force of the narrative with an infectious thunder. he’s a character i love a lot!how they play them: clear and concise! there’s a lot of heart in your writing. you clearly have a handle on how izuku thinks.the mun: someone i haven’t spoken to or interacted with yet, but making a quick-cut gut-based decision, someone i feel i could get along with.
