honestly the most whimsical thing ive done in ages its great. i need more sillyness in my life. it really isnt even that cute or funny or big of a deal but its making me smile lmao and thats reason enough ig :]

But also then I get anxious thinking about my personal tagging system. What if they're getting misinterpreted? Are my tags mean on accident?? Am I part of the problem????

I promise that I'm not saying #mid fic to say mid tier fic!!! It was just the way I chose to abbreviate medium length fic, bc I figured tagging it as #med fic would only confuse myself o(tヘto)

Also #ew romance lol is just how I sort fics that feature romance as a central plot point, bc I'm aromantic! It was supposed to be ironic!!

#the size rankings in order are:#oneshot/short fic -> mid fic -> long fic -> lonk fic -> way too fucking long #this has nothing to do with word count and little to to woth chapter count #its judged by vibes #how long it took for me to finish it in one sitting (or up to 4 sessions depending on if I got stuff to do)#and how much brain fog I had once I was done #sometimes it has like 10 or less chapters. but GOOD GOD. that definitely does Not read like a short fic #and sometimes it has like 40 chapters. but its not about a heavy or complex or drawn out theme/arc. so it takes less time to read #I love them both equally #it just helps me identify what I'm in the mood to read atm #with the bonus of! -> series with too many tags #(bc I like the series. but also if the tags take up more than 2 1/2 full screen scrolls it can get tedious)#as for the the 'too fucking long' tag... it's just #bc sometimes I see a fic I bookmarked start ticking up to 120-150+ chapers. and I start dreading it #its not the author nor the fic's fault!!!#I just have anxiety about unreasonable things sometimes and those fics take me like. weeks to read in their entirety #stopping and starting an ongoing task repeatedly over a long period of time stresses me out #those fics are usually pretty good tho!!
