inverse!au takes place in new york city, a fucked up version of new york city. where most of the avengers had a messed up past due to hydra invasions. years pass, once the avengers are made hey fight off hydra placing them in the shadows for about a couple of years. the avengers then broke off and went their own paths-- but one day the avengers reunite to fight off a threat they perceived as small. it was a hydra attack, at first it was small but the invasion was much larger than they expected. the avengers, revengers, guardians of the galaxy, & wakandans all fell during battle after losing shield’s director fury. most were captured by hydra after they had won. hydra took in some of the avengers and erased their memories, turning them into their own soldiers. they were called ‘hydra force’, a team feared across the world that hydra conquered after the invasion. hydra force members were given code names and different looks after being experimented on and tortured by hydra’s leader ‘the commander’. the remaining avengers fell into the shadows hiding and becoming ‘rebels’ among hydra’s new world, they are still known as heros to those who oppose hydra. the avengers have also changed during their years of hiding.
hydra force, the members include; tony stark (snake), steve rogers (red), stephen strange (vamp), peter parker (anx), clint barton (hawk), wanda maximoff (velvet), sam wilson (raven), bruce banner (gamma), and gamora (emerald) avengers, the members include: everyone who wasn’t listen besides the rest of the guardians (they gave up and went their separate ways)
