(( id think it’s obvious but im gonna point it out since ive got more new followers than usual this week: alexus is scared of being perceived as homosexual because that leads to crucifixion. [ im not a straight person and im not homophobic. im also against slavery, rape, and killing, does that even need to be said? I don’t think anything about the Legion is admirable/forgivable but it is fascinating to think how someone could be raised this way and think how it affects their social interactions ))

   Read the following story, have your muse order the four characters in order of least guilty to most guilty, and explain their reasoning.

Prince Wilhelm is passionately in love with Celestine. But she does not love him. One day, Wilhelm comes to the King and asks for Celestine’s hand in marriage. Celestine begs the king not to marry her to Wilhelm, but the king ignores her pleas. Royal protocol means he must say yes to the match. They are married and Wilhelm takes Celestine back with him to his kingdom. That night, he attempts to consummate the marriage, but the distraught Celestine flees. She runs from the safety of the castle and across a field, ignoring the sign which warns of danger. In that field is the Bull, who, seeing the girl, charges her. She falls under his hooves and is killed instantly.

He tilted his head. “I... I don’t understand? It does not say anybody broke any rules? I don’t see any ‘guilt’ from just these words in this story– Only tragedy.

“Maybe the bull and then the woman are the least ‘guilty’ by default. Between the men, who have more choice... I’d say the prince not only had the most choice in this but he also chose the least wisely. And so I would say the king had more ‘right’ in his decision then.

“So: Bull, woman, king, prince, if I absolutely had to choose. But I don’t think anybody is really ‘guilty’ in this story– Not knowing more details of their exact actions and situations.”
