hey ummm so... i have this indie fandomless oc that’s a kind of bitchy android + rogue robot apocalypse survivor??? He’s backstory heavy & has a webcomic to go with him in the works, so yeah. The catch is that he doesn’t initially have a name in new interactions. You(r muse) might want to come up with one for him. abitweirdiknow, but,,,,,,
anyways, I’m always looking for new interactions, so like + reblog if you're interested in interacting???
ok so I just wanna run my mouth for a little bit about the importance of this blog, why I’m not gonna delete it, what I try to achieve out of it, and how much I love my character n why??? am I allowed to do that??? I hope I’m allowed to do that......
Just--- look. I’m not really here for ships and whatnot. They’re a nice addition I guess, but I don’t always want people to be friendly with my muse. Shenanigans are an awesome thing to have because it’s a fun relief from all that thinking-- but that’s not what instantly comes to mind when I look at this character. Plotting long, story-based threads is amazing, but that just--- comes with the package, honestly. This character’s main focus, the main drive behind even creating this blog, is that he acts as motivation for not only me but other muns and their muses to do some introspective thinking. whAT HE PROVIDES--- MORE THAN ANY OTHER MUSE I’VE HAD--- IS QUESTIONS. CHALLENGES. PHILOSOPHIES AND THEORIES THAT WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE!!!DISCUSSED!!!!!!!! OK???
He doesn’t have all the ANSWERS. Hell, he doesn’t even have all the QUESTIONS. But his biggest feat is the amount of RUMINATION that he does, and how that affects other people!! I freaking-- LOVE it when other peoples’ muses put forward their thoughts on the subject he dwells upon! To what extent does an artificial entity become classified as ‘living’??? How do ‘emotions’ come into play with this??? What’s your position on mercy, death, superiority, choices, etc.??? Sometimes you and/or your muses might have already drawn a conclusion that you’re satisfied with. Other times, he might be proposing a CHALLENGE. He’s here for you to banter, discuss, argue, QUESTION. Because that’s the purpose he’s chosen.
His backstory only adds to this purpose-- that is, it’s the backbone of my OC’s existence. He thinks the way he does not only because of his backstory but his entire homeworld, and the entities that once inhabited it. He exists as a testament to the concept that, even if we all go extinct, our ponderings and ruminations may always remain. I want this OC to interact with more people because??? that’s really important to me??? Because I think it’s important that people let their muses dwell on things they’ve never considered, or preach what they strongly believe. Because I like his character and the sort of interaction he brings to the table, and I want to share that. He won’t always make friends. He won’t always learn or grow. But that’s part of the fun-- every interaction will be different, and have a different impact on his way of thinking, and that???? that’s what I’m so in love with.
Also, the whole naming thing--- that goes hand-in-hand with whatever I’m trying to push. Because as his point of view diverges from the initial as he continues interaction with one muse in one verse, it will differ from the point of view he might have with another muse in another verse! Like, because-- no verse will ever be the SAME!!!!!!!!!! AND I!!!!!!!!! JUST----
JUST, LOOK.... ‘I LOVE MY MUSE’ ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHAT I’M TRYING TO CONVEY,,,,, I AM SO DEEPLY INVESTED,,, I WANNA SHARE THAT??? I WANT PEOPLE TO EXPLORE THAT??? SEE WHAT YOU CAN UNCOVER ABOUT YOUR MUSE OR YOURSELF OR H Fkjaghklj
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,man,,,,, i should prolly go lay down
The android did possess some level of curiosity. And it’s just as well-- for if he hadn’t any, he might never have met Hunk.
At any rate, he had eventually taken to wandering this strange and foreign place which served as Hunk’s home (possibly??? That is, hadn’t heard the human use that term yet, but one might readily assume--) and stumbled upon an area in the residential quarters that had him at odds with the place: the cafeteria.
He stared at a series of dispensers, and then at what appeared to be their controls. He knew there would be little harm done by pressing any of the buttons in this room. After all, he knew a kitchen when he saw one and knew doubly that nothing would blow up. That was the only reason why he’d be so inclined as to hit the switch that stood out to him most. If he had been more dubious about its purpose, he would have laid off.
He first heard the chirp of confirmation sounded from speakers somewhere above, and then a wet splortch below. Looking to the source of that second sound, the android could make out what he might only want to describe as ‘a thick green substance’. At any rate, he found it revolting.
Little else stirred in the vast and empty cafeteria room. The only thing there was a lost android glaring menacingly at a pile of green goo on the floor.
- So I have a lot to do after being away for so long-- some of which I’m just gonna outline in this updootle posty here. First, just putting it out there that this post is gonna double as a starter call. Which means if you hit that like button (and aren’t on that list down there), you’re elligible for ONE FREE STARTER. //throws confetti
- Next, there’s a couple old-but-still-relevant drafts to address-- it’s not many at all, and it took a bit of searching, but here they are. To everyone mentioned, feel free to hmu if you want to continue/wanna plot or talk about it, or just hit the like. If neither is done, I’ll just take it as a no.

- LASTLY, it’s time I explain myself and why I’ve been gone so long. Uhhh meet me under the cut if you’re interested in finding out.
So the first half of my absence was due to depression kickin me right in the ass. Repeatedly. And not letting me get back up. But had I not run into TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, I would have been back much....MUCH sooner than now.
And by technical difficulties, I mean literal....technical difficulties. On Febuary 1st, my computer, having been in sleep mode the night prior, decided it wouldn’t turn on.
...Uh, correction. The TOWER powered on, but the monitor and cintiq would not. Several soft and hard reboots later and I was on the phone with the pc company (Cybertron PC)’s support team.
Now, I’d been having plenty of trouble before this even happened. From blue screens with “thread stuck in device driver” errors to the occasional refusal to wake from sleep mode and having to be rebooted, I was considering having the damn thing shipped off to Cybertron to get it’s graphics card replaced and maybe even upgraded. Because I knew perfectly well that the graphics card was to blame for all my troubles.
I only know THIS because of my PREVIOUS computer, (from the inept CyberPOWER PC company) which gave me bluescreen after bluescreen of a whole RAINBOW’S pickings of error codes. I got no help from Cyberpower PC on any of that, despite my asking.
Anyways, yes, I had my baby shipped off via UPS all the way from the North-East Coast to KANSAS. So there I was, without a computer, for a whole goddamn month.
Truthfully, I did have my mother’s computer to use whenever she didn’t care (which she often didn’t) and I do still have my oldest computer in the house-- which works, but is a slow, senile old thing that lags in typing and takes 20 minutes to an hour to open one application.
So, yeah. I was stuck without for the most part.
On the bright side, this baby’s warranty still has yet to expire, so all I had to pay for is the shipping, the labor, and the difference for the graphics card upgrade, which comes out to about 300 dollars. Which is much better than what it otherwise WOULD have been. And now it’s back and working beautifully. No bluescreens. ....Yet. Knock on wood.
It took me about a week to get back into the habit of socializing (which I did most of my stretches on my Alleyway Jack blog), but I think I’m ready to come back to the rp community now-- I’ve been feeling so gATdamn lonely anyways ajdkfhkjl Maybe I’ll feel able to get back into writing that comic, too.
There was something about this nameless android that simply gave him an automatic aversion to fellow androids, robots, and other hosts of some form of artificial, synthetic, or simulated intelligence. Perhaps he was just projecting, in a manner of speaking. He certainly showed no signs of having any self-respect.
Alas, he eventually came upon one robot of feminine complexion in the midst of aimless wandering. With no goal in mind, he was bent to just Go. Go anywhere. Even if the road led him to someplace dangerous or unpleasant. And the road brought him here, into the presence of another man-made entity, which he immediately recognized as such.
And what did he say upon seeing her?
Well, despite the intricate web of complex pseudo-neural transmissions firing off within him, his reaction was quite basic; flat-toned, straight to the point, short and sweet...
「...No.」
And with that, he was already turning to find a different path.
