for various reasons i need to actually get more familiar with drawing in photoshop, but i swear it just has never clicked with me as a program. oTL i have no idea why, but the scaling of the canvas and the brushes themselves, most of all, always mess me up.
as in... no canvas size ever feels right?? plus i have a total problem with drawing ‘small figures’ (... -coughs- definitely exacerbated by over a year of almost only pixel art). while deliberate planning can alleviate that, it still just feels... clunky to me...
one of the most intensely advanced/intricate drawing (or, well, photo editing) programs out there, and i feel like it’s clunky. (=___=|||)
‘course, all that means is that i have to use it more, to get to the point where it feels right/i at least know how to competently navigate it.
ended up doodling some of Serif & Vellum’s (of Lilytale) original Underground denizens, alongside them and some ADs... it’s rough, so i’m gonna put it under a cut. =v=;; but hey, ‘least i’ll have it for posterity.
(also, dear gods, if you are confident with Photoshop, i wouldn’t say no to some pointers re sizing the canvas and what looks good. you’d think i could do fine with 1080p, but nope...)
everyone’s gender is all mixed up (as appropriate), so eg, Muffet, Alphys, Undyne, Toriel = guys, etc etc. Mettaton (who in their universe, is Mettalon) is also a ghost-turned-robot performer, but her shtick is much more in line with an extremely attractive drag king, or perhaps a ‘prince’ girl archetype from an anime.

As for KyHn!! Hmm... I consider it my nOTP, but I don’t really hate it, nor do I feel salty towards the ship. I guess chemistry-wise, I’m more for pairing Kiyoshi with characters who will treat him right (call me vanilla orz). Meta-wise, I also don’t like how Kiyoshi and Hanamiya are often portrayed. Kiyoshi is sometimes written as overly forgiving/naive, while Hanamiya is written as tsun. Like... imo, Hanamiya is more than just tsun??? He breaks people’s limbs for heavens sake.
BUT people are of course to ship what they’d like!
If Yuzu turns out to be Ruri, how would Shun react to that? And Yuzu? Identity crisis to be sure. I wonder how will Shun make his approach then. And for some reason I want them to duel. @.@
As I said before, Shun would be horrified to see that his little sister can’t recognize him. I also think he would feel REALLY guilty because he gave up on the Yuzu = Ruri idea as soon as he saw her using Fusion… or maybe not ? I would be very pleased if actually, deep down, Shun was still thinking about that.
Yuzu will most likely have a breakdown, or at least she’ll be very affected. Well, Shun may be all “RURI ! RURI !” at first but I trust him to be patient and sweet with her when he’ll see her suffering. Yuuya, Gongenzaka and the others may help too, but I wonder how Shuuzou would handle that. Besides, Shun will definitely confront him…
I would like to see them dueling but only if it’ll be useful to the plot, I don’t want to just see Shun thinking “She looks so much like Ruri” and nothing else happens.
What I wish that will never happen : Yuzu is revealed to be Ruri, Shun runs towards her and says “I knew it… I knew it… !” before hugging her tightly. And then she gets kidnapped by Yuuri because DRAMA
((I'm starting to wonder if some of my posts are just disappearing from the dash?;; Because I keep replying to people, and then they don't respond- and I don't know if it's that they've had to leave (which is fine), or if they just can't see that I've responded? If it were only one or two recent incidents, I wouldn't be concerned, but...
