Alright! This art work took hours, and hours well spent in my opinion. Choosing the words from a book and cutting them out, then positioning them in aesthetically pleasing ways— then, of course, cutting shapes from some gold textured paper... this project was a constant stream of happiness for me.

The soulmates themes have always been so intense in this fic, and especially from Miraak's side (although I never miss Chrysanthe's own intensity). This particular poem is from Miraak's point of view, and was chosen to reflect his feelings for Chry.

I do hope you enjoy this one as much as I love it.

cole sprouse’s asexuality backflips

(january 2017): cole sprouse claims he is fighting for asexual jughead jones, but that he still needs to “do his job” which i guess implies sex scenes (??).

(april 2017): cole sprouse revises his position and claims that he’s “torn” because it “makes sense” for betty and jughead to “find solace in each other”. solace apparently means sex. with cole’s apparently extensive research into asexuality he should probably have known how iffy this statement is.

(naturally aromanticism is never discussed. disappointed but not surprised)

(september 2017): cole sprouse admits that he and the riverdale team were “working against jughead’s asexuality”, and he ascribes one of jughead’s traits (romance repulsion) to “75 years of comic purism”.
