yone’s release actually helped me figure out some more of my ‘demonic vastaya’ idea for xigemi so i present to u the bare minimum i have stirring around in my think pan,,,, till i get to work on an au page:
the dam in ionia which keeps the flow of black tears in check failed somewhat once, when a crack led to a fraction of it bursting open &. eventually destroying a small village on impact.
xigemi was expected to be born any moment when tragedy hit. she is then born in a pool of black tears, all alone. having soaked in the stuff fresh out of the womb, her vastayan features are twisted in ways resembling a demon.
