&& @nekxri.
it’s about forty-five minutes since urie got the call from hq. some minor incident, from the sound of it ( but people can get pretty upset about encounters with ghouls, even if it’s just something small like finding a human foot in their alleyway ) but if he wouldn’t mind, could he go and talk to a witness before heading home? --- yeah, he’ll do it ( if no one else is able to respond right now ) but he’s not going to enjoy it. waste of his damn time, more likely than not.
still, that’s how he finds himself waving his id badge in front of some ... blond thing. just a kid? urie can’t quite tell --- sometimes he thinks his perception is a little skewed, when most students at the academies look older and more exhausted than many who are five to ten years their senior. he knows the dark circles under his eyes don’t help to make his own face a friendly one. ( incidentally, though, he’s not trying for that effect. )
‘ --- my name’s urie. i’m an investigator with the commission of counter ghoul, ’ he introduces himself, before pulling the id card away and returning it to its proper place in his coat pocket. ‘ tell me your name, and then we’ll talk about the nature of the incident. ’
