One of the courses I’m taking this semester is a comparative literature class on the concept of monsters and related manifestations of the “other” in media (like robots and cyborgs), but the course takes a vaguely chronological route through all of them so our first couple of weeks’ readings are all mostly about or related to witches and demons in early modern Europe/North America, and I cannot tell if my current case of chronic Owl House brain is enhancing or hindering my thoughts on them but I am 100% positive I’m at least going to get a really weird discussion post out of all this.
